We take alot of time to prepare for an interview. Study the company, get familiar with the location, think of good questions to ask. Basically take alot of time to prepare for an interview. So why dont employers take the time to call back even if you are not a match for the job? Isnt it common courtesy to do so?

Does anyone know why when you order your own credit report from Experian, Equifax, Transunion, scores always differ (they are higher)to those ordered by mortgage companies and auto dilerships? I know they typically use Tribureaus repaort but still scores should be the same. I pulled mine but the service that I use and it showed 740, but the same bureau reported to my lender 784? Any ideas?

A newly set up company expected to commence operations after six months wishes to acquire an existing profitable business in the same segment. Resources is not a constraint. Agreement in principle has been reached with the partners of the firm. I am not sure but the assets of the firm will have to be revalued and the firm may end up paying capital gains tax. The capital base of the company may go up substantially and the debt may also go up as per the agreement as no immediate cash transfer is expected.

This info is for a freind whom has consulted w/ an atty. and stated that the only option is a settlement. This party does not have the money for a settlement nor enough assets to sell off to erase the tax liability. All wages garnished and personal asset(s) i.e. car has lien attached. Bankruptcy won't work due to this is non-dischargeable debt. This person understands the need to pay and has a good job-salary, but the IRS has left her/him with $333 to live on ea. month. Bascially poverty-stricken. No doubt the gov't has legal basis to due this, but, but, I believe it's unfair/ unjust to propel a person into dire straits with collection efforts. If the garnishment was not at the present level e.g. leaving this person with say $1000 to live on monthly, it would be affordable. I don't think the IRS... tax system, was setup to render a preson homeless or otherwise. Thank you for any assistance.

I get up everyday go to work, work hard and earn an average salary for where I live. I don't spend much but I'm always broke! Always living paycheck to paycheck and not enough to even save. Does anybody have any suggestions? I've read things on stocks, investments, etc but know nothing about it. I'm just really sick of being broke all the time. With my weird work hours, a second job is impossible. My immediate family is deceased so no help there. I wouldn't ask anyways. Are there any legitimate work at home jobs with great income? My house payments been late and I was threatened with foreclosure twice. I don't like living like this. There has to be another way. Any suggestions....will be appreciated.

My fiance and are entrepreneurs. I quit my job with corporate america because of the toll it was taking on my health and because I was tired of corporate bondage. We have researched and found a few multi-level marketing prorgrams that could be very lucrative if we can just find the right people to share it with. Most people are quick to categorize all multi-level marketing ventures as "pyramid schemes"-- sheme in this term is short for schematics, but it it has a negative connotation when used in conjunction with "pyramid". But our own system of capitalism is built on a "pyramid schematic"-- henceforth, the pyramid on the dollar bill. It's just that in corporate america, the common workers make up the bottom level of the structure and the big people at the top profit big time. There are many multi-level marketing projects that follow the same principles, but give YOU and ME, the opportunity to become financially independent. Where are the people who understand that this is real??
