I need to know all I can about section 8.If anybody knows of a web site for Spartanburg County ,South Carolina section 8 as it would relate to the landlord,and how that person would accept secton 8,please let me know.Also if any body has opinions,or knows the pros and cons of this situation please feedback.Thanks

their is so much you have to do to get approved as a section 8 landlord. it is hard to get approved and not really worth the money you would have to spend to bring the house up to their standard. but you can contact h.u.d. they will give you the forms and things. they will inspect the homes then tell you what needs to be done to join the program. when i had my rentals done i paid out a Lot of $ to fix them up. then the first renters i had trashed them. and i had nothing but problems with the secton 8 renters and the program it self. money was always late from the state ect.. but if you want to do it all i can say is good luck
