I tend to be a fainter when it comes to needles, blood etc. I have a tat all designed that I've wanted to get forever, and now I'm actually getting around to having it done, I'm a little worried about the whole fainting thing. What if I faint half way through? Anyone have an experience they can share?

My husband has tatt's all over (legs, back, arms) He's not covered in them as in they are not sleeves. But he does it because he LOVES art and has a friend who is an incredible tattoo artist.

My husband is kind, helpful, and generous. He is the farthest thing from a "punk" or "loser", but he gets judged by people as being a bad egg. As an example: When we first started dating and my nephew met him and got to know him my sister said "see darren, not ALL people with tattoos are bad". I think my husband was a bit sad that this 10 yr. old kid thought he was a bad person because of his tatt's. ( My nephew LOVES him to death now and most people who get to know him think he's a great guy).

What is your opinion?

Hello.

Got my first tattoo booked for Thursday, I am very scared.

I am not a big lover of needles, but I really want one.

Anyone got any ideas on how to keep calm and not rat out of it??

It is on my foot. Anyone had one there?? Is it sore. How sore? Not sore?

im not a chubby person, when i had my first tat done on my lower back, the artist had someone there to push down and spread my skin with both hands while he coloured is that normal?
i wasn't moving around or nothing, just relaxed and laying there. took him 2 hours and he was in a peed off mood and swearing at his girlfriend alot.

the tattoo is black outline and the person is pretty much going to get it covered up with either a heart or star completely filled in and have the current tattoo re-done elsewhere (its messed up) but she wants to know if she would need to do the coverup in all black in order to cover up the current tattoo.

hey guys could someone please give me the step by step instruction on the most proper tattoo care pleaseeeee....i just got it done and after i got home i jus washed it with warm water and johnsons soap...then i put back the wrap and after around 4 hrs i took it off..there was a little blood,alot of oooze and my tattoo colour......is the colour comig off?...i have also applied johnsons baby oil after removing my wrap..not what all should i do?should i put the wrap back?how many times should i apply the oil in a day?what else should i do?can i use vitamin E oil? plz help thx

I'm think of getting a tattoo commemorating the life of my brother that passed away. Just something moderately sized on my shoulders. The only problem is that tattoos are against my religion (Islam). As I understand at least. So should I get it or not? What would you do?
