One of the best tattoo removers that one of the other responders said (heard it on a radio commercial) is called "wrecking balm" it's a cream that you rub onto the tattoo and over time it will disappear without scarring of the tissue, pain, or discomfort. Unfortunately, I don't know what the price would be.

There is a new type of laser that is more effective called a "Q-switched laser" that has a lower chance of scarring. However, it still hurts. Laser removal is often more painful and expensive than the tattoo itself. And there aren't a lot of other options. There are cover-ups with another tattoo. Its also possible to get a skin colored tattoo over the original. (Just don't even get a suntan.) If you really want to get a tattoo removed you're pretty much stuck with laser.

Its scary to me how many people are misinformed about tattoo removal. This thread is filled with nonsense..come on lemon juice and sewing needles...how about staph infection and antibiotics more likely. Creams and gels are gimmicks that don't work either. Professional laser removal or surgival excision. Wish there was an easy way out but there isn't........

There's no safe way to do it without a professional laser. The only other methods include using acid, scalpeling the skin off, etc. - things you don't want to do!

there arent any other ways unless the tattoo was of very poor quality like India Ink or a homemade tattoo done with pen ink. Try www.webmd.com for further questions!
Good Luck but dont do it yourself!!!

I heard use lemon juice with a needle and poke it into your skin. I am assuming you have to go the depth of the tattoo. And then you have to let it scab and pick the scab and supposedly the ink comes out with the scab. My aunt tried it and it did work, but she did have a little of the ink left in that spot. Don't know, if you try it and it works let me know. Hope this helps

There isn't a safe and hygienic way to do anything at home. Have it done professionally.
