I had a bad tattoo done.....Its about 1/12 inches long and about an inch wide and its just black. Its symbol for scorpio. What would be a good design to cover it up? I'm leaning towards a flower with vines etc...

im all for them I only have one at the moment but Im getting more when i turn 18 so i just wanted to know what everyone thinks abut them i know some peoples religion controls what they can and cant believe in(im atheist tho so no worries lol)

i got a star wars rebel logo on my upper arm, i really also wanted outer space surrounding it and kinda trailing off and stuff and my artist who has won 5 full sleeve awards and 7 half sleeve awards in the last 10 years in Texas said no way that it would not look like what i wanted and that black doesnt stand up to time and that he would just do the logo.. which is still bad *** ..lol...

My question is this:

I should listen to him right?

Also second question:

any ideas on how to one day extend it out..i was thinking dark blues and stars...

Hi, the blue areas of my 2 month tattoo are bumpy and there are some angry red patches around parts of it.
- should I continue with all the antihistamines (i'm taking them orally and apllying antihistamine cream?
- I saw somewhere that steroid creams may help with the allergic reaction, any ideas about that?
- I found a webpage that suggests using silver sulphadiazine dressings for allergic reactions to tattoo ink, anybody know anything about it?
- has anybody got any really good suggestions of anything that i can do to make my tattoo better?! i want to use savlon on it all the time as it says "skin healing cream" on the tube, do you think this would be better than the antihistamine cream?
- how can I expect my tattoo to end up looking?I absolutely love it and need to mentally prepare myself for how it's going to end up! I don't mind so much if the bumpy-ness stays but will the red patches around some of the blue always be there?or is the blue ink going to come out altogether?

I am looking to get a tattoo representing my husband and myself (our relationship). I want something that means love, complete, fidelity, married...you get the picture. I am hoping for a unique design/symbol- I don't want hearts, roses, suns/moons, yin yangs.

I am of german descent, and he is french and native american. I don't know if there are any cultural symbols that would represent those things?

The tattoo is going on my foot or ankle, so it should be sort of small. I don't care if it is color or black and grey.

I was watching tv, and I had a extremely fine tip permanent marker and it was dry but I kept digging it in my skin in a line and it turned red and suddenly some ink came out now I have a black line on my skin and its puffy, did I accidently give myself a tattoo? I'm going to wash the ink off.

this wasnt an item, just the blokes secret. he claims to be able to remove tattoos with simple ingreiants, he also claims to be a tattooist. anyone know what this is?

My tattoo artist told me to apply the A&D Ointment 4 times a day for four days, and there after i should apply a moisturizer that is non-scented and does not contain any alcohol. I have Aloe Vera Gel, that is non-scented, contains no alcohol or dyes, is it ok to use?

I'm 17 and thinking about getting a tattoo but the problem is that im expecting my body to get bigger and more muscular because I have started climbing again. I'd like to get it now because I'm pretty excited about it now that i finally decided what i want. But I'm wondering if i should wait until my body has gotten bigger because I'm worried it might stretch or get distorted. Could someone let me know as soon as possible please? :)

I'm interested in getting a real tattoo, but I wanted to get a "temporary" first to try it on for size. I really want something that will look as close to a real tattoo as possible with color. Airbrush i heard comes off in shower, same as the stamp ones. Is there anything temporary tattoos out there that look real and can last more than a week?

Okay so I finally picked out a design for my first tattoo (its going to be a rose) and its going to go on my back by my shoulder. Two problems. I am extremely extremely afraid of needles. And I have an extremely low pain tolerance. I need to get this tattoo because I always back out of everything and I need to prove to myself that I can deal with the pain and go through with it. But I was just wondering if anyone can tell me exactly what it feels like to get a tattoo?? I'm soooo nervous! Any tips?

I thought that i saw somewhere a picture of a butterfly tattoo that had a little sparkle to it? can you get tattooed in glitter to make it shimmer all the time? this would be so awesome. ive always wanted a tattoo but never really knew what to get but if you can get a glitter tattoo then im in for it cuz i want to sparkle all the time. let me know.

So this is another typical this or that tattoo question. Im going for my first one in a few months, and I am undecided on what tattoo I want to get as my first one. one is rather original in a sence that it was drawin up from scrach by a tattoo artist, and he didnt look at any other tattoo;s to get ideas from. The second tattoo is a rather popular one, but it represents something, where as the first one doesnt.

The first one is of a tear in the skin, stitched up, and in the middle a few stitches are riped, and there is a small eye peering out, the second one is a panther tattoo, and the panther is also riping out of my skin, but it represents my anger which has a tendancey of just "riping out" from time to time..

The first one would be on my side, from my hip up to about 5 inches from my armpit, and the panter one would eather be on my sholder, or sholder blade, no quite sure on that one yet as far as placement..

So what do you think?

I just got an arm band tattoo on Saturday and the scabs are peeling off in my shirts and when I put cream on it onit. Its the outter part of the arm that is peeling. Is this normal

I apply cream to it daily luberderm, I pat it dry when I shower
