Seriously, I used to dance in a ballet company and I have a tat on my shoulder blade...I would cover it w/ Max Factor Silk Perfection Liquid to Powder makeup...it's a flat navy blue compact...get it in your skin color. Cover the area of the tat and around the tat about a 1/4 of an inch. Use a matching loose powder tho cover it. This is the trick...use aerosol hairspray only and mist over the area that you covered...enough to stiffen but not drip! It stays a long time.
Good luck!

Yes, there are lots of brands of makeup that patients use to cover up things like acne and body scars from surgery. There are probably more than you would suppose. Most of the brands have multiple shades, to fit the various skin complexions of most people. Go to a pharmacy or to a large department store that deals with makeup and dermatology foundation products; they will recommend a couple of brands. You may have to experiment a little to find the best shade, but they are thick enough to cover anything like a birth-mark or other physical condtions, so they should be just as effective on a tattoo.

In some instances, a small, tasteful tatoo will not interfere with work. But if you think yours will, you may be able to cover it up with the same kind of concealer you use on your face.
This depends on where the tatoo is located on your arm and what your arm is like. If you have moles, uneven skin tone, or hair on your arm (even light hair) the concealer may look awkward. If this is the case, you might want to ask the advisor at the makeup counter for some tips.
Even if you think regular concealer would work, you might want to check your skin tone on your arm and try a slightly different colored concealer than you use on your face.
*EDIT* Also, I spoke to a representative and apparently there is special make up to cover tatoos! You can try this out as well!
Or, if you have more money to spare and you think the tatoo is going to seriously affect your life and career for years to come, you might look into having the tatoo proffesionally and permanently removed.
If nothing works out, as I stated before, remember! A small tasteful tatoo is generally not a problem! Unless your boss has actually said something to you about it, I wouldn't worry a whole lot.
Anyways, good luck!

I did some research on this myself (I plan on getting a tiny temple tattoo in a few weeks). I wanted to make sure I could cover it up when needed. This looks like a great product. It's called Color Tration. They will even sell you a color match kit for only $14 so you can try it to make sure you like it. Here is the website: http://www.colortration.com/
Good luck.

You need some high pigment foundation. If the one you currently use on your face doesn't work, get it a shade darker. Dust pressed powder over your wrist to make sure it stays in place.

try a concealer, lighter than your complexion, then apply a thin layer of foundation that matches your skin on top. this should cover your tattoo. i use this method all the time.
