um ok i keep seeing the haters write to people wanting to get a tattoo that if they get one it will cause cancer.i just want to know were in the world they got there info from!!i never heard of such a thing!i have 7 tattoos and researched tattooing alot and never have heard that it would give you cancer!i wish people would research stuff before giving such ridiculous answers!!has any non haters ever heard that tattoos will give you cancer?down with the troll!!

I have an appointment to get a hood piercing and a tattoo on the Mons veneris area. I shaved .....

I am a little nervous. This is something that I have wanted for over 15 years. I am on the Depo shot which causes me to do what is called break through bleeding - which is something that just happens at any point in time. I bought some soft cups (softcup.com if ya don't know) and plan to use that during my appointment.

Any advice, etc??? Anyone out there had either or both of these things done?? Should I wear some loose fitting pants, like jogging pants??

I liked the tattoo these 2 girls went in to get, they were matching tats of stars by the ankle. I search the internet for them, and I can't seem to find them. I want to find them because I want something similar to that to get on a different part of my body. Do you know a link where I could find that actually tat? Thanks very much.

I got mine the day i turned 16 my dad took me to get it he payed for it and all i havent regreted it yet im 17 going on 18 now and plan on having a bunch more i have a pretty good sized angel on my arm praying wit a banner under it that says "jordyn" for my cousin that died

just curous..new tattoo and in a sea of red there is a black dot..that should not be there...im thinking its a lil mole...i have them here and there...

i'm doing shamrocks and "kiss me i'm irish" at an irish pub from 2-7 on st pattys. it's alcohol based paint so it lasts longer, but its $100 worth of paint. a % of the money (no idea how much... the bar asked me whats fair??) goes to the bar. so... how much should i charge if i intend to even profit from this??

im 14 and really want a tattoo my parents said not until im 16 but i dont think i can wait that long. i have really strange skin and it dont take to anything well. i once had a glue tattoo and the glue would not stik no matter wat. i failed the test to see if i could have a henna. what can i do and shell i get a tattoo with out my parents knowing?? please help

I have two questions please:

1. Do you really have to be 18 (in texas) to get a tattoo? I mean do they really check your ID and all that?

2. I heard the tat cannot be exposed to the sun for about two weeks, is that true if not how long should one wait to go to the beach after getting one?

I had a dream last night where my hands were tattooed (really badly, I might add!) I know where that came from; it was from questions I answered on here yesterday evening... But it led me to wonder... if you have tattoos, do you see them in your dreams (i.e. is your dream self tattooed, too)? Sometimes I'm aware of my (real) tattoos in dreams, other times not, and I'm curious to know how this works for other people. Or do you ever dream yourself with tattoos you don't have? Good ones? Bad ones? Weird ones?

i talked about it to my parents and they dont want me to get one, like any other parents.

My dad said the reason i shouldn't get one is because i might regret it, assuming I have only thought about it for a day. I have actually thought about it for 3-4 years.

My mom says that no one in her family has had tattoos. I cant say anything.

I explained that:

1. this is something i have considered for a long time.
2. Im 100% sure that I want this.
3. Its going to be the upper arm, that way i can hide it at work.

Anything else i can say to convince them to let me get it?

Its not that they're paying for it, its just that if they see me with one, im out the house.

any tips?

Does anyone else get annoyed by the fact that people are too lazy to get off their asses and actually call or visit a tattoo shop for PROFESSIONAL answers regarding their questions and issues? If I had a problem I would go straight to back to the shop and speak to the source, not just ask strangers.

The first 2 tattoos i got on my stomach took me 4 hours to get done.That was just the outline. It wasn't the best decision i ever made to get them done at the same time. But it will be when they are finished

everyone says Christians are not suppose to get tattoos. But im Christian and i been reading the bible for years and the only thing i ever came across was that we cant tattoo our bodies for the dead? so what about not if the tattoo is not for the dead?. Yeah and i do have a tattoo btw

hi, i want to get a tattoo on my inner wrist. this will be my first tattoo and was just wondering as the skin is thinner and will be getting the tatt just over main arteries and vains is there any extra "danger" or anything to take into account for getting this.
also do you think its advisable this being my first tatt? or should i get another tattoo elsewhere on my body first?
