Does anyone else get annoyed by the fact that people are too lazy to get off their asses and actually call or visit a tattoo shop for PROFESSIONAL answers regarding their questions and issues? If I had a problem I would go straight to back to the shop and speak to the source, not just ask strangers.

In response to "pistol whipped," I can partially agree there. But how do we know what the artist is really telling them?
I'll put it like this, if your doctor diagnoses you with a condition you don't agree with, would you get online and ask strangers for their opinion? No, you'd ask another doctor.
Besides people need to do research on artists before they let them stick needles into their bodies.

I have no problems with answering questions on here, I am in no way putting down Yahoo answers. But I only answer questios that I have first hand expierence over.
oh and BTW:::
You say people come on here and don't ask for medical advice?
You should go and read some more questions.

it really depends who answers you because some of the people (genuine people ) the tattoo geniouses like somebody and blair etc they are covered in tats and will have probably experienced every form of tattooing pain/reaction/effect

some of these guys do know their sh*t just check the leader board

on the other hand you are right because other people will just spam you and give bull sh*t answers

with all this said yes you are probably right leave it to the proffesionals

I agree with you shhenab. In my early days of being tattooed ( i am now 70% covered) I would never of asked a complete stranger for their advice even if they had a tattoo.
Have 1 tattoo doesn't make someone an expert! And how can ppl say that these aren't medical questions? Ppl get on here an say their tat or piercing is INFECTED, that is a medical issue!!!

uh because its called yahoo answers.thats what you do on here.you ask questions.its not like they are having real medical problems and are asking for advice.everyone on here almost has a tattoo so they all know how to answer correctly.if someone asked something that was a medical question then i would tell them to ask there artist or see a doc.but everything else can be answered by anyone whos had a tattoo before

well some people have desk jobs and just like to be chatty and stuff I guess...I have a lot of time on my hands during the day and I like to ask lot's of questions even if I know the answer....it's always intersting to see other peoples thoughts.

I agree. It is better to ask people who do the craft rather than those who just get it done. You wouldn't ask a cow for eggs, right?:)

Yeah. You wouldn't ask someone what kind of car you would like.
