If you are a man, Dont get a bunch of small stupid tattoos, Get a colorful theme going, Its a turn off when men have randomness everywhere and everything clashes with eachother, Stick with something that represents you.

I think they are sexy and have always been with men that have them. I like ones with a story it shows character rather than someone who is doing it to "feel hard" or "cool"
Tattoos don't make the man, The man makes the tattoo....
Choose wisely.

You're not really much of an atheist if you have a tattoo of an angel on your body.

I have several christian friends that have tattoos. I'm a minister and I have a total of 7. Tattoos don't mean you're going to hell.

Some people try to quote the old Leviticus's law about tattoos but, that was written specifically to the Jews to separate them from the pagans. I'm not Jewish so I've never been under the law. And the way I read the scripture, it seems like it's not banning tats in general but, specific tats. Those specific tats would be ones that memorialize the dead. (I'm just telling you what it says. I'm not making a judgment about your tattoo. And if you're not a christian, it would not matter.)

I love tattoos! I have 6 of them myself and my boyfriend is covered in them... so HOT! Welll I would suggest keeping your tattoos in places where no one will see them while you are in school or while you are applying for jobs in a future career. If you want tattoos on your arms then keep them above the elbow or only go as low as a 3/4 sleeve so that you can always hide it if you need to. I wish everyone excepted tattoos but the truth is that some people won't hire you if you have them.

Many religions consider the human body to be a temple that we shouldn't damage with ink or piercings. I'm catholic but I decided a long time ago to get tatttoos. I belive in my religion but I also belive that God (whatever God a person believes in) will not judge us on body art and that he koves us all. To me it seems that you are not atheist but you may be agnostic...

Agnosticism - the philosophical view that the truth value of certain claims—particularly theological claims regarding metaphysics, afterlife or the existence of God, god(s), or deities—is unknown or (possibly) inherently unknowable.

Atheism entails, minimally, the disbelief[1] in the existence of any deities.[2] It is contrasted with theism, the belief in a God or gods. Atheism is commonly defined as the positive belief that deities do not exist, or as the deliberate rejection of theism

Hopefully this helps. Enjoy your tattoos and I hope you find what you are looking for! Good Luck! ;-)

well im a christian and i have 7 tattoos at the moment.religion has nothing to do with it.its about being open and just plain liking them.i think most people that have tattoos are very artistic in some way or another.and people that are haters are usually the type that are just to scared to express themselves.i love tattoos but i even feel there must be a line drawn at some point.like tattooing the face is something i dont really understand!but to each his own

I love tats! On guys and gals! I'm a gal. Get you a nice back piece or theme going. Too bad you don't like color. I think guys w/ tats, color, and tans are hot!!!!! Maybe try some graywash.(Your tattooist can show you some pics. Its like it sounds. A different kind of shading.) Religion doesn't have anything to do with it. People are people. We all think different. Its your body,so its what you want that counts! Tattooing is self-expression. So, have fun and enjoy the adventure! Good Luck!

You're atheist yet you have an angel praying for a deceased relative on your upper arm??

Sorry I just had to point out the irony in that.

Personally I think tattoo's can be both good and bad, and it's all a matter of taste and opinion. I generally think less is more, and that as long as you got it for a reason you feel strongly about, and you like it, then that's all that matters.

while tattoos are popular now, they may not always be so.
personally, I don't care for tatts but, to each his own.

I have to laugh when I remember the man who I gave an EKG to who said "my battleship sank". I wan't sure what he meant until he took off his shirt so I could place the sensors for the reading. It was all I could do to remain professional until I left the room.

He had at one time been more "robust" in appearance and the tattoo that had once graced a manly, muscular chest was indeed a sinking relic on a flabby old man.

Consider what you will look like as an aging adult when everything is not as firm fleshed as now.

Plus, some companies are less tolerant of body art than others. Careful placement of your art may keep that from being an issue since you can cover it with clothing. But like all issues, extremes of any kind are their own undoing.

if you are determined to 'ink up', go to a reputable location, not just the local hot spot.

make sure that they disinfect all permanent equipment after each use.

ask for a peek at their health and safety certificates.

check for an inspection placard from the local or state health department.

above all - ASK FOR REFERENCES!! any place that does business should be willing to give references of people who have been and still are pleased with the work that has been done.

I think that a persons body is there business, and they should be able to do what they want with it. If you like tattoos and the way they look, then get them. If you dont like them, then dont. Personally Im all for them.

Tattoos are hot. I've always been fascinated by people that have tattoos. I have several now. It's your own personal self-expression. If someone else has a problem with it or doesn't like it, then they dont have to look at them!

before i start i want to state im covered head to to in tats full sleves the lot i love my tats so dont think im against them

people sadly see tattooed people in a different light they see me and imediatly think im a thug and i would sooner steal someones wallet than buy them a pint .just because im covered in tattooes . they judge me before they even know me on the inside . they couldent be more wrong im a quiet frendly guy really

also no doubt you will get tattoo haters answers aswell who call people with tattooes tramp stamped that is there oppinion sadly and you cant nock that as they are entitled to their oppinion although this is a shame they think that way as this is quite a shalow judgement

my oppinion is people with tattooes are not i repeat are NOT tramp stamped my tattooes are there for me and me only they all have personal meanings to me and have a strong mental input on myself . thats why i have so many tattooes . NOT TO SHOW OFF!!! if people want to look at me and judge me on my tattooes before they know me then fine i dont need to know them there not worth it and are obviously shallow people

what im saying is people should not judge a book by its cover or treat people different for what they belive in or what they enjoy doing

what im saying is if YOU are happy with your tattoo ideas then i say good for you seriously dont let others get you down with their rash taistless assumptions wear you tattooes with pride !!!

pece on earth !!!
