I dont know this person, but I came across their tattoo and its driving me nuts trying to figure out what the hell it is. I felt like asking here to see if anyone knew lol.

I recently saw a picture of someone that had actually had a tattoo carved into their skin. Does anyone know what this is called. I am curious about this now. Would never consider it ahhaa I am not much into serious pain.

I dont have any tattoos now, but I've had this in mind for some time and finally decided to do some research on it. I want to place "honor", "courage", and "commitment" in chinese characters vertically down my right-back.

I went to babelfish and typed in those words to get the chinese and it turns out that each word is 2 characters. 荣誉 (honor), 勇气 (courage), 承诺 (commitment). I've asked a friend to verify if those are the correct translations (no response yet) and if whether there is a 1 character version of those words... but I had always expected to have 3 chinese characters nicely spaced out down my back... Now that image has been crushed :(.

I recieved a quoted price of $100 for 3 characters. How much more expensive would 6 characters be, and would it even be aesthetic (and simple) to plaster 6 characters on my back? I want a nice clean simple look.

Can someone tell me where the best spot is to put it where it wouldnt hurt very badly, but still be hidden. Also it's not gonna be very big. It's only gonna be about an inch high and an inch wide.

I just got my nose pierced almost 3 weeks ago, for my birthday. But today my mom realized it looked kinda red. She cleaned it right some stuff, but i heard if it gets infected you have to take the stud out otherwise you'll get sick. Is that true? & what should i do? what do i use to get rid of the infection because i really dont want to get rid of it, i went through to much begging and pain to get it.

I want to get a tattoo on my lower back. I already have what I want picked out and its meaningful to me. I was just curious as to how bad it will hurt in that area because I have never had a tattoo. I am not interested in hearing anyone's opinion on them and if they are "tramp stamps" or not because I don't care and I know what I want. I just want some advice on what to expect as far as pain and such and for my first one should I start with something small or go ahead and get what I want.

I had my ear pierced on June 14th 2006, and left it for 6 weeks to heal. I then stretched 3 weeks at a time (16-14-12-10-8-6-4) up until 2 weeks ago when i finally reached 5mm. now i have decided that i want to let them shrink back down to what they where, (i took them out 24 hours ago and i cannot get the 5mm taper through now!!!) but i kinda miss it, and i know that i am likely to want to stretch it again in the future, does anyone know if this will cause damage to my lobe?

i want a black horse comming out of fire it will be half the horse the head comming out of it and the legs are coming like he is jumping out not scared just comming out and i want the muscle of the horese to be very toned able to be seen very well.

I'm irish and scottish and I want to get some sort of shamrock thing. I was thinking like a 4-leaf clover with a few regular clovers around it on my ankle. All black, and relatively small. I'm over-weight right now and don't want to get a tat anywhere on my abdomen as when I lose weight it will probably look different or distorted.
