I know every artist charges differintly but i was wondering if any one roughly knew the price range of a bow tattoo that measured 3 inches across and 6 inches long?

I was bitten by a mosquito on my tattoo last night and I must have been scratching it last night in bed, when I woke up the area is red raw, and my tattoo looks irritated as its less than a month old. I have been putting vitamin E oil on it all day but was wondering if it will go back to normal eventually?

The art of tattooing and the practice of body piercing have been around for centuries. Why now are they being called a trend?

In more recent years they have become more popular than ever but that doesn't change the fact that tattooing and body piercing have been a part of history for many cultures for many many years.

I do not believe these are mere trends destined to die out but the bringing back of ancient customs. As more people have these modifications done I can only hope the practices themselves will become more widely accepted and even considered "normal."

i'm getting 2 dolphins an a tribal design on my lowerback. My question is how wide an how high are most tattoo's in this area? I want it just above my pants line but some off my friends say it is up too high. personally, I think it is too low!

6 days ago i gave myself a tattoo with ink and a sewing needle. its just a little tiny outline of a star on the inside of my hip. it is still a little red and swolen. it doesn't hurt that bad but, if it is infected, what do i do?

I am writing a trend paper on how more women are getting tattoos. So far all of the research is giving me is that we get them, because it makes us feel sexy. I happen to disagree to a point. Iknow that some women DO get them for that reason. I got mine to represent specific times in my life. Why did you get yours and what did you get? well yesterday i had in my navel ring.... and like a couple of hrs later i looked in da mirror.. and i didnt see the bottom ball thats [[not suppose to come off!]] and so i lost it! the only ring i had left was a heavy one with 3 bunnies hanging down.....and its starting to hurt!! if i buy another 1 should i change it? or leave this one in for a while!??

about this when I see a woman with a tattoo that's been put in a provocative place. Picture yourself as an old women in a nursing home being cared for by a stranger. It's not a very grandmotherly picture. I can't imagine that they would be treated with the same care my Grandma is given. What are your thoughts about this? No offense was intended, really!
