I was bitten by a mosquito on my tattoo last night and I must have been scratching it last night in bed, when I woke up the area is red raw, and my tattoo looks irritated as its less than a month old. I have been putting vitamin E oil on it all day but was wondering if it will go back to normal eventually?

Be sure the bite isn't infected. It could be a spider bite, unless U saw the mosquito bite U. Put some antibiotic ointment on it. It should heal just fine.

try Bepanthem cream, you can get it at the chemist. If it doesnt heal up in a day or two, using the cream 3 times a day, then see doc because it could get infected.

remember skin needs to get dry as well. Oils and jellies will keep your skin moist and not allow an infected area to dry or skab.

once it heals it will just keep putting ointment on it and dont irritate it.

yes it will go back to normal eventually STOP SCRATCHING IT! use A&D ((original ointment)) this will help! :)

it will go back as long as you don't pick at it. your doing the right thing with the vit e.
