Anywhere were the skin is thin with no or little muscle tissue underneath (like the ankles and elbows or spine) will be more painful to get a tatoo on.
Eyelids sounds pretty painful :(

you sense soreness with tattoos- yet sure, some places extra desirable than others. as an occasion, the ankle or different spots the place there is not any longer often any pores and skin or close to the bone will def. harm maximum. For a discreet place attempt the hip or on the decrease back between the shoulder blades.

I have a large butterfly tattooed onto the top of my foot, and as I was told to expect, it really hurt! It also swelled up for a few days. Apparently, the most painful places are those that have bone closer to the surface of your skin, as the nerves running across them are also closer to the surface. So these might be, top of foot, ankle, back of neck, spine etc. Least painful are the most fleshy areas.

Having your lips tattooed is extremely painful, I had lip liner tattoo applied and the pain was horrendous!!! Lots of nerve endings and blood vessels in the lip area.
The tattooist had got half way round my lip area and I was ready to jump up and leave the only thing that stopped me is that I would have looked a right stupid t**t!

I can't vouch for every place having not been tattooed everywhere, but along my spine was really painful, in comparison to my lower back.
I've heard that the inside of your upper arm is very painful and i've also heard that anywhere there is bone close to the surface of the skin really hurts.

The bottom of your back, lower stomach or bum. One of my tattoos goes from lower back onto my bum and it hurt so much i couldnt even cry. Ive had tattoos 3 of which are very large, and some piercings and my pain threshold is quite high really.
even my tattooist said i was brave for the tattoo i had done but then each person is different.

I would think eyelid. I then after thinking that think finger tips are sensitive enough for reading braille and may be very sensitive if you were to have a tattoo there. I remember having my finger tip stuck by a needle for a diabetes test and I jumped and screamed.

I'm not sure about the most painful but I do know about the least and that would be your bicep (a.k.a. the most Tattooed body part).
