I have a tattoo, and the colors came out great. A friend of mine is a few shades darker than myself, and prefers tribal tattoos in darker colors, such as blue and black. They show up very nicely on his skin.

depends on how dark your skin is! I'm African American also and i have 2 tattoos! the both of them ar black but one is kinda shaded and the other is bold! my next one will be on my wrist and it's gonna have purple in it! talk to your tatoo artist about it! most of the colors than look good on us are red, black, purple, green. colors that are very bold and stand out!

It really depends on the pigment of your skin. However, if you're anything from a light caramel to a darker coffee (Or around the same colour as your Picture) a black tattoo would really look gorgeous on your skin.

It all depends on the darkness of your skin. Some light colors like white yellow and pastals don't work well.

you may not have a lot of color choices for your ink. definitely black would work but it does all depend on your skin color.
