Half? Go all the way, man. Full sleeves... mmmhmm..

Okay, really. Depends on the location(in the country and in the state, prices vary in the country), shop, artist, the designs, the detail, colors in the designs, difficulty and/or complexity of the design, size of your arm, and the hours/sessions it takes to complete. Most people do it gradually, though, because of the pain, and to be able to afford it.

Okay, a Ballpark, usually, for a good artist and artwork, it will be in the thousands, depending all of the pricing factors, unless you get them on a big discount, as I. It might be cheaper if you did. Most artists will charge you by the hour, so be advised.

The artist you intend to do it will give you a closer estimate. Always ask a tattoo artist near you. Find a good shop, and a good artist and sit them down and discuss it with them, and then discuss the price.

Don't let the price compromise your decision, though. Always find a clean, sterile professional in a likewise shop. Their talent should please you, not their low price(but crap artwork). Do not bargain shop at ALL. You get what you pay for. No one said tattoos are cheap..

Goodluck.

Here in CA, most artists charge about $100 an hour, and for a large piece such as that, they would probably charge by time. But that all depends on what you want, how much detail is involved, where you live, things like that. But this is not the time to bargain shop. Look for quality portfolios and artists with whom you feel comfortable asking questions and giving input. Good luck!

Usually a few thousand, minimum, for a good artist. Most artists will charge hourly, when it comes to large pieces like a sleeve. Prices vary by area, style of tattoo, coloring, artwork and the artist. Your best bet to get a closer ballpark figure would be to visit a few artists whose portfolios match up with the style of artwork you want to have done. Just remember... you get what you pay for, so the bargain price won't be the best artwork, generally.

it all depends on time. any good artist will charge you by the hour and not by the piece. i have a tattoo on my back that is roughly 9 inches by 13 inches and it took about 7 hours to do, which cost me $700. the fact that i got the tattoo from a great artist and friend makes the money totally worth it! good luck!!

My suggestion is don't do it. Unless you plan to work in the service industry your entire life. Or wear winter clothes in the summer time to cover it up. Generally, people don't respect people who have visible tattoos in the white collar work force.

If your trying not to spend a lot of money on a piece of art that will represent you for the rest of your life then your gonna get what you pay for.....cheap. I'd ask the artist after you decide what you want.
