Has anyone gotten a tattoo removed before? Results?

I have been very pleased with my results as I have had my tattoo lasered 3 times. It is about an inch and a half in diameter and is black, neon pink, neon green, blue and purple in color. It is on the underside of my wrist and was a cover-up for a basic black tattoo. The black is comepletely gone except for the original tattoo, the neon green is gone and most of the pink. The purple and blue still needs to be worked on and I probably have 4-5 more sessions to go. But, some natural skin color is already poking through, however, there is some scarring that is appearing as well.

If you really want the tattoo gone, I would suggest it as it is the most efficient way to remove a tattoo. But, beware! It is very, very painful! 100 times worse than the actual tattoo. And it blisters and oozes for days.

But, I love the results (minimal scarring) and it's well worth it.

Yes, I've had two removed. It was quite expensive and VERY painful. But the lazer removed them completely and I'm glad to have them gone. Also how many sessions you have will depend on the colors in your tattoo. When you go for your first session they will quote you a price per session depending on the size of the tattoo. If you have alot of blue and green in your tattoo be prepared for 5 or 6 sessions, those are the two toughest colors to get rid of.

I had a friend get a tattoo removed. It was about the size of a 50 cent piece. It cost him $375. He had to keep going back because it wouldn't disappear. They didn't charge anymore, but it was a pain in the *** for him.

my dad got a tatoo removed, and he said it hurt SOOO much, and there's still a little pink thing around where he got it removed. you can barely see it.
