I think all those are cliche tattoos to have. Soooo many people want or already have them in one design or another. I'm speaking from experience here, I have cliche tattoos myself and while I'm happy with them, they mean something to me personally, there's no doubt that someone already has the exact same thing.
If that is what you want and you don't care that they're cliche then go with the one that means the most to you which would most likely be the cross. It doesn't have to be a plain cross, you can dress it up and make it more your own. You could have the cross covered in vines and flowers with maybe a butterfly hovering around it. That's something I've been considering myself but with a Pentacle. I've also bee wanting a Phoenix bird and I know a lot of people already have one but I'm having mine drawn up by a friend with my own ideas.
I saw a picture of a tattoo of a rosary and the artist had added a shadow effect and the tattoo looked 3D. It was very cool.
Whatever you pick do something original with it. Take your time and be creative. Look on the internet for ideas or talk to the artist to help you out. You'll love your tattoo even more if you put the effort into and have something that is meaningful to you.

Well, if you are getting is across your lower back, you have to do something that is long. If you did a heart, you could make it one big heart in the middle with a little breeze of smaller floating hearts around it. If you get a rose, you could probably get the rose tilted with some vines coming out of it with some petals floating around it. With a butterfly, you could have it floating in the middle, then have some flowers floating around it, or a sweet design sort of coming from the sides. A cross, I have no idea.

I'm thinking about one too but I would say a cool tribal butterfly or tribal rose! A Pretty, sexy, cool, your style tattoo. It'll be there the rest of your life make a good decision think about that one for atleast a month or so to know it's what you really want. It is expensive to get them removed! Choose wisely

Defently something that fits your personality.
If your girly, maybe a butterfly or heart
Well doesn't matter what you are, like label
But something you think would be feminine and sexy
and would suit your true self
But be careful ! Make your decision wise, cause then takin the tattoo out would hurt and take a pretty long time .

I have a butterfly myself, so I am prone to answer with a butterfly. After Christmas I am adding vines to both sides with two smaller plain butterflies and putting my children's name in each one.

Okay...as an avid tattoee(sp? lol) I say...get what you love. Go into a tat shop near you....look at pics of the work the artists have done...look online at artist's work. You have to be sure it is something that you love. Something that you will love in 50 years. Personally...I think tribal looks good on the lower back. I have the Power of Three symbol(charmed) with tribal on either side on my lower back. Do something orginial...something with meaning to you. For example, if you have a Celtic background...get a Celtic knot across there...something like that is always good. Just look at what the shop has done...talk to the artist about things you like about the ones he or she has done and how they could be altered to suit what you want. Tatts are amazing and tons of fun....I love meeting others with tats....im or message me if you want to talk more about it!!

out of those 4, I would say a butterfly. Don't make it a kid-ish one though because you will regret it later on. I like the frog idea though.

"butterfly" rose top big, doesent really say anything butter fly works well on the lower back,ive put hundres of them on it 10 years.

the only one of those i like is the butterfly but if you have to ask other peoples opinions you realy shouldnt be getting it done its a personal preference its your body and it will be your work of art its upto u not anyone else
