I dont know this person, but I came across their tattoo and its driving me nuts trying to figure out what the hell it is. I felt like asking here to see if anyone knew lol.

It is human device to make the beautiful natural skin look ugly. Tattooing leads to later skin complications. UV and Laser tattooing leads to cancer as per medical research.

It's obviously an old school dagger through a rose, with the petals(appearing) to be falling off, with lettering above it. It looks like it has three letters, initals(most likely), a name or just a small word above it. It is a very traditional and common tattoo..

Of course, not the same. They're different styles, but it is a bigger picture to give you the idea, everything's different about it, different blade, size, rose, handle, and there's no initials..etc. BUT that should give you an IDEA... Those are very common tattoo designs..

I agree, it looks like a dagger through either a rose of some obscure round shape with initials above. Although the pics has a high resolution, I can't get it in focus in photoshop at all. Sorry.

I personally thought it looked abit like a candle. There seems to be writing up the top, maybe it is a remembrance candle, like you see at churches. Just a thought, I couldn't really see the dagger, but hey each to their own.

You can seem at a few alchemical symbols; you could like a few of the ones, and they are utilized in Rosicrucianism on occasion. I for my part feel the Utchat eye (or eye of Horus) is a quite splendid image.
