Wait until your 18 or 21 and get it done. You do not need your parents permission. If you are serious about getting one you should work with the tattoo artist on what you want it to look like.

At the end of the day it's your body and you can get whatever you like done to it.
My sister had the same idea with getting a tattoo and not letting our mum and dad know,so she got the tattoo on her back.Problem was it was on her lower back and it didn't take long before it was spotted.Think about how you would keep it hidden ie.if you were wearing a vest top-your shoulders/shoulder blades are exposed and if wearing a crop top-your lower back is exposed.
As for what it is,most images of a genie are masculine and not really feminine but I found a couple that are female on www.tattoojohnny.com (type in genie in the search box). You could always ask a tattoo artist to design a tattoo for you and custom it to whatever you like, which is what my sister did-she got a dragon.

You sound pretty young, so my advice would be to think long and hard about how you'll feel about your tattoo of choice in twenty years. I really think you should not get the genie, for the same reasons that you want it. There's a huge chance you'll regret that one. I have a tattoo of Thumper (from the movie Bambi) on my shoulder blade. I've had it for twelve years, and still really love it, and in that spot, hardly anyone knows it's there. You'll know when you run across the right one; that's how it worked for me.

That's not a very good reason to get that tattoo. It makes you sound kind of slutty.

Just think about that in the long run, when you're older and when your parents find out. If you are still worried about your parents finding out, chances are you're too young for one.

Give it some time, then revisit the idea.

Like others have said, think long and hard about the fact you will spend the rest of your life with it on your body... I have 2 tattoos, the first one I got when I was 17 and I didn't think it through properly, i don't mind it cos its easily hidden but I spent a long time choosing my second one (was 20 years old) and only went ahead with it when I fell in love with the design I found 4 years later and I still adore it!! Only get one done if you can see yourself still being proud of it in 20 years time. Good luck with your decision!!

Well I'm not going to give you any ideas for tatoos, but by far the best places are:
Shoulder blade. I have mine on my shoulder blade and you'd be surprised how well it can be concealed.
Inner thigh: For obvious reasons ;)
Foot: If you wear socks about the house, your foot is a surprisingly sexy, if painful, area to have your tatoo.

Don't get it on your lower back because everytime you bend down it will be seen, trust me.

Or, if you don't wear belly tops, to the left or right under your navel looks cute too.

You've not thought enough about this or you wouldn't be asking us lot to choose! If you can't come up with someone for yourself keep thinking and make sure you keep thinking until you can picture in your head what you want, where about and then and only then get an appointment with a reliable, registered tatooist.

Please don't ask a bunch of strangers on the internet what tattoo to get. I have a tattoo. I think they're great but it will be on YOUR body for the rest of YOUR life, so it should be something YOU decided on.

So let me get this straight.

From what YOU have said, this is what some of us have concluded about you:
> You are living at home with your parents.
> you sleep around a lot
> your command of the English language is awful.

I hope you'll reconsider the tat.
Your dad can probably explain why people want to have them removed...tat's can be a really stupid choice, especially when a person as young as you gets one.

As for the "genie in bed" bit, are you using birth control?
We don't need any more preggo single mom's out in the world.

And please...stay in school, get a good education and make something of yourself besides a chick who sleeps around and gets tats only to hide them from mom and dad.
