Tattoos - October 2006

i have a friend who is too embarassed to ask this question herself, and she asked me... i don't know what to say, so i am just going to ask it as a forum/poll question so that i have a well-thought-out answer that has been researched.

i have a friend who has a tattoo of a unicursal hexigram inside of a circle. it is on her back hip, where no one can see if unless she wants them to.

obviously, it is a symbol of protection in white witfchcraft, and she got it when she was having a really tough time with her ex-husband...stalking and stuff...

since then, she has researched it, and claims that it also represents "free will".

she met this really great guy, and he ffreaked when he saw it, and won't speak to her, or return her calls or e-mails.

should she leave it and hope that she can find someone that is more open-minded?

***any opinions, positive or negative are welcome,

**also, what should she cover the tattoo with? it's approx the size of a nickel.

I plan to get my eyebrow Pierced..Does it hurt??

I am getting my Lip pierced..And I dont want to hear its nasty or you'll look like a freak..This one girl told me it dont look good..but seriously it does she also said if your gothic and get it your ugly but goths are ugly anyways..First off im not goth but my boyfriend is and that just pisses me off..Keep your mean smart remarks to yourself my question is..does getting you lip pierced hurt??..I asked my boyfriend Cause he has it donee and he said no but he likes pain lol and hes weird..So Does it hurt??

I know I need to just talk to the tattoo place that would be doing it, but right now I'm just trying to get a feel for things. I'm not completely sure yet if I want to do this. I got my first tattoo on saturday and its scabbed a little now and i think it was healing ok. but on thursday i accidentally knocked it and picked a bit of the scab off! it bled a bit and a new scabs formed over but could that bit of been damaged? im really worried ive picked some of the colour out and ill have a white bit!
do you think that is very likely?

I want to get a tattoo. I am a mother of 3 "Polkatots" and would like to get a Polkadot tattoo using 3 circles, not so big, somehow. So, I was thinking about incorporating it with a heart. I like bold colors, sapphire blue, emerald green and ruby red for the "polkadots". Ugh. I dont know a creative mind to put it all together before I go to the tattoo parlor. I need to have an idea before the try and sway me to get something not cool.

Where would I put such a tribute to my kids on my 30+ body...the nape of my neck (people can see it when my hair is up), my arm ( no), near my heart (no one can see it).
