I think the flower is pretty but NO tattoo is cute for a 16 year old. Wait until your at least 18. It's a decision that will be with you for life. My daughter wanted a tat from the time she was 13 and 4 times her choice changed. When she turned 18 I gave her money towards her first tat but she took another year to make sure of her choice. She's had it now for a year & she's glad she waited. She's taken another year now with her boyfriend drawing the next one and still working out the final details.
Take your time. What ever you decide will be with you forever so the next couple years won't hurt anything.

I think an orchid would be really nice. But unless you are willing to get one illegally, no reputable artist/shop would touch you until you are 18. Some shops may do one if your parent or legal guardian is present but they are few and very far between. Best of luck hon...think about it really hard. Is this what you really want or is it just a passing fancy? I had been thinking of a tattoo for 20 years. I finally did it at 36. That's when I thought I was old enough to get one.

You're too young for a tattoo. Especially since you mentioned the words 'Do you think it's cute'.
Obviously you attach no special meaning to it, especially since you got it out of a B-Grade hack movie like Anacondas 2.

While I like tattoos (I myself have two) and think that the idea is pretty, I think you're too young to get it. The age to get a tattoo without parental consent is 18 for a reason. If you really like this tattoo idea and it's right for you, you'll still want it in two years. Just think on it and get it at the right age.

I thought you had to be 18 to get a tattoo. Anyway, it sounds nice, but don't think "will it be cute now" - you need to think "will it be cute in 20 years?"

reduce the size, getting a tattoo that is huge at 16 is not a good idea because your skin is eventually going to stretch.

it is cute... I hope you like pain... I have 7 tattoos and they hurt a little, more on the ones that were put where muscles are...
