Tattoos - October 2006

I find it interesting that people do such extreme things to their bodies for attention. What kind of people do they want to attract and what "Mission" are they on? Will they be comfortable with their pierces and tattoo's when they are seniors?

I have been wishing to get a tattoo for years, but I'm allergic to pain, jk. I want some, no matter how much they hurt, but I heard of a cream recently that would allow your arm to numb if you put it on, and then a couple of hours later they do the tattoo. And it would be painfree. Is this true?
The tattoo is worth the pain, but if I can get it painfree, that would be GREAT!

My parents are divorced and my father and I haven't had the greatest relationship. After 6 years of pain I've finally come to terms that I don't need him in my life and want nothing to do with him. I'm ready to put it all behind me.

I want to get a tattoo to symbolize that I'm moving on with my life and that I won't let the idiotic things my father does affect me anymore. Also, that I'm strong enough to deal with the emotional pain he incures and that I can get over it.

I was thinking of the following:

1) tumbling leaf = "turning over a new leaf".
2) dove = at peace with the situation...

One of my friends suggested a phoenix.

I already have a tattoo in my lower back and I'm looking to get something small, approx 4 inches X 4 inches, maybe a little bigger.

Do you have any suggestions?

Okay so i want a tattoo. i haven't completely decided where yet..either on my inner wrist, right below my inner elbow, or on the back of my neck.
I want it to say freebird (as in the lynyrd skynyrd song) it means a lot to me.
BUT i dont know what type of writing to get it done in...

After I take a shower my nose is red around the sides and in that area and also under my eyes a little bit just were the bone curves under your eye. After a long day even if I dont go outside in the sun I have very dry and peeling nose. My forehead does the same. My face seems dry for a couple of hours after I have showed then it starts to peel and feel dry and dirty. My nose area is the worst of it. I also noticed dry skin in parts of my eyebrows. any help is appreciated
