Tattoos - October 2006

so i gauged (or stretched, or whatever i need to call it to get an answer and not yelled at) my ears from 2 to 0 i gauged/stretched my right one 2 days before my left one which i gauged/stretched on the 11th, my right one is bleeding, but it dosent hurt, and my left one hurts and it's tingling. i havent gauged/stretched for a year and i dont remember it tingling, but yeah so anyway could someone nice tell me (not yell at me) is it ok for my ear to bleed and tingle? and if it is how long, on average, should it take for them to stop? also my lobes feel hard, like scars

Why is it that people think some tattoos are played out? Who gives a **** what you think about them if they are only asking for advice on getting one. If someone wants a tattoo thats their problem so stop criticizing everyone and what they want.

I got my first tattoo yesterday (made another question about that, and people were SO incredibly helpful so thank you)- it is all black and on my lower back. I am washing it gently with antibacterial soap and applying the A&D ointment, it doesn't hurt at all. I did notice that when I rub the ointment on a tiny little bit of black flakes off on my hand. Is this normal?

I thought it wasn't supposed to start flaking for a week.

i want to get a finger tattoo that goes all the way from top to bottom on my middle finger but i cant think of or find any designs that would look wicked, ive tried drawing a few things on my finger but nothing comes out good, anyone got any ideas? ive read it's not a good idea to do a tattoo over a place like a knuckle so i need to come up with something that maybe wraps around it!! i dunno

So my husband is in Iraq, and i wantedt to get his initials tattooed on me! I want to get them very fancy but small & i dont know where. I was thinking on the inside of my wrist, or the inside of my ankle. Yeah the ankle one may be weird, but its different! Any suggestions?

when in fact they are just imitating trends?
i HAVE A UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE.I changed careers from carpenter to retailer /wholesaler of body piercing jewelery.4 years now . I just see so much of people doing something that they think is cool.But in reality if it wasnt a trend, most of them wouldnt be doing it.So how is it that they think they are being rebels or expressing themselves when they are just expressing marketing trends?

I have been thinking about getting a tattoo on my lower back. I already know what I want and its not big or anything. It is going to be a Georgia bulldog G and like some tribal design on each sides of it. I was just curious as to how much the lower back tattoos hurt cause I've never had one. I'm thinking about getting a tattoo after I get into college. It's going to be a religious symbol because I know God is something I will never regret. My main question is where to get it. I don't want to get it in a place where it's going to stretch with weight gain or something like that. I was thinking of on or near my hip bone. That way I can hide it with jeans.
