It's your body! If you wanna tattoo your face then your friends and family should be behind you 110%. I'm 19 and I already have 5 big ones so I am for tattoo's they are an expression (in my opinion) However even though I have fairly big tattoos none of them are noticeable when I'm in a professional environment. So I think you should get a tattoo for your birthday! YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE. Plus it's painless...

I wouldnt get one on your shoulder as its a very dated look, on your wrist, lower back or ankle is much more tasteful. And are you sure you REALLY want a dolphin? Remember, you will be looking at it forever, skin stretches in time, sometimes a design is better than an actual item. there are many great tattoists out there, get a copy of Skin Deep magazine, it will list them.

Who cares how old you are. If YOU want a tattoo do it for yourself, don't listen to anyone else. 60 is a good age so i think you should really treat yourself to it. Tattoos are awesome and i promise you if you get one you'll want another!! Happy Birthday

It's your choice. You don't need other people's approval to have this done. I am not a fan of tattoo and never see the point of having one. To me, it has no visual appeal so I don't think I would ever want one done to me.

I know what I would get. A tattoo of the american flag with two small baby eagles holding a ribbon that says "forever free" on it. I'm very patriotic.

I've gotten my tattoos at certain milestones, to commemorate occasions, to remind myself of important moments or traits that are important to me.
So I'm all for you getting a tattoo. At least you won't have anyone saying, "You'll regret that when you're older!"
