I don't think so. I just got a tattoo a week ago also. It's just above my hip bone on my side, and it doesn't hurt at all. It itches like crazy though. Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those people that will say tattoo's don't hurt. It hurt like hel l. It was the worst pain I've ever felt aside from having kids anyway. But it doesn't hurt anymore. I think after a week it should be almost healed, at least pretty close. Yours could be infected. You should have it checked out.

Yes. I got a tat on my hip about 6 months ago, and it took a while to heal. It was because my pants sit right there. Try to keep clothes off of it as much as you can. I wore sweats at home and just kept the waist rolled way down. Just keep it clean and take care of it like you were told to do and it will heal. If you notice it really red, hot, and weepy then go to the docs.

Uhm, yeah, without a doubt.
That's one of the most sensitive spots to get tattooed, along with other parts of your body close to the bone. It'll probably hurt for about a month, if not longer.

Yes, it's gonna hurt for maybe another week. I got a tattoo on my side and it hurt for 2 weeks because I kept sleeping on it and I think you problem is your pants and or your underwear. Try to free ball it (excuse the pun) as much as possible. That way nuffin irritates the tattoo.

The fatter/much less bonier the area the fewer it's going to harm, is what i became advised. I truthfully have one tattoo on my thigh, and it purely harm after 3 a million/2 hours of nonstop tattooing and that i'm purely somewhat older than you (became sixteen in March). It sounds to me like your tattoo purely isn't too vast so shop that in the process thoughts besides... individually, the day upon getting the truthfully tattoo harm greater suitable than the tattoo itself yet that's with the help of the fact my tattoo is veeerrry super (approximately 8in by ability of 5in) and had a good style of diverse hues.

Yes think it is normal. But if you have not only pain but any abnormal thing around and on that area like bleeding, itching, etc. you must consult a doctor soon.

Yes.

Esp if your clothes rub up against it. Try wearing loose clothing. And make sure you keep it moisturized. Wash with mild antibacterial soap once a day with your hand only.
