So my husband is in Iraq, and i wantedt to get his initials tattooed on me! I want to get them very fancy but small & i dont know where. I was thinking on the inside of my wrist, or the inside of my ankle. Yeah the ankle one may be weird, but its different! Any suggestions?

thats cool... i think you should put them on the back of your neck... just below the hair line... that way it is nice and hidden from everyone but him and you know its there... and really isnt that all that is important? but if you want it somewhere people can actually see the inside of the ankle might be a good place because you can always hide that if you need to... like for an interview etc. good luck... and i might be going out on a limb but i am assuming your husband is in the military. please thank him for me... w/out our brave men n women overseas we'd live very different lives and not for the better

Clowmy is right, they ARE painful spots. I agree with the naked steak dinner answer. He is probably going to be very horney. I'm sure that he would rather be "IN" you than "ON" you. Give the tattoo a lot of time and thought. I have one on the back of my wrist just above the hand and although it is not initials, I do regret it sometimes. If you insist, the back of the neck up into the hair line or inside the bottom lip are good places that can be hidden should he happen to get "horney" a little too soon or say, you do.

I wouldn't see why not. You obviously care alot bout him if yhou want to get something about him tattooed on your body for life. I don't think it inappropriate at all. The ear would be cute! i have two lady bugs behind my ear and I love it. cause it shows when your hair is up. Or have you thought about your wrist maybe? and how big are you talking about for your parents initials? could get it on your ankle?? Or have you thought about maybe getting a symbol that makes you remind you of them? like the lady bugs for me represents my mom and I. maybe you can think of something that can mean you your parents and your brother? Just an idea. Unless you wanna keep it simple. thats cool too. Good luck =) Oh just realized you are 15! I'd say wait a bit to make sure its what you want.

I have a tattoo behind my ear- its is cute and easily hidden. I have my husbands initials right beside my hip bone above my underwear line on the front of my body. He loves it cause he is the only one who can see it! Good luck!

Honey, though you may love the man with your whole heart don't put his initials on your body anywhere, instead get something that reminds you of him. If you get a divorce though I hope it does not happen, an image is much easier to look at than his initials.

inital tattoos are bad luck. period. i agree with getting a tattoo with an image that reminds you of him. i have a big yellow rose on the top of my foot(and yes that does hurt it took about 4hrs), i got it when i was with my ex (hence the word ex) he used to always get me yellow roses, but i also wanted it because im a native texan so now that were not together it has taken on a new meaning. Anyhow best of luck. I hope your hubby comes home safe and im very thankful that he's serving our county yall should be very proud!

lower back (centered) or upper back on the left or right side.. u know.. behind the shoulder.. mm.. even on the side of the neck.. that would be good too.. places where u cant see it.. hehe. but he would find it.. ;).. it would be a turn on.. :).. thats just plain hot!.. :).. add a lil design around the intials.. it would make it look sweeter.. just be sure.. he is THE one.. u know.. ur new bf.. wont like the idea.. at all.. unless his intials are the same.. lol.. good luck .. :)..god bless yall..

I like inside of the wrist or nape of your neck. I have a butterfly on the back of my neck......it looks beautiful! Get some cool scrolly letters.......it will be BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!! Ignore the people telling you not to do it.............they don't understand! More power to you! And god/dess bless your husband and bring him home to you safely! Peace!
