I got most of my tattoos when I was overweight and I have been looseing. Here is the best tip that I can give. If you get a tattoo and loose weight make sure that you do it the right way when I say the right way I mean through healthy diet and exercise so the weight loss is slower. Your skin elsaticty will look better as you are loosing weight. Make sure that you have Vita A and copper in your diet it will help with skin elastisity as well.
All of my tattoo's look just same as after they finished healing. just watch out that you don't tattoo on strech marks that's what will make it look funny

It all depends on where the tattoo is placed. I have a tat on the outside of my lower calf. At the time that I got the it I guess I was about 20 pounds heavier than today. And it still looks great.
The placement and design are key lettering can stand up better to skin changes then some pictures.

Lose the weight and then maybe you'll respect yourself enough not to get tattoos. Or if you already have them, you can pay to have them removed once you lose weight as a reward for your hard work. Make a fresh start!

You can get temporary tatoos. When you get tired of it change it. Did you ever see how a 60 year old looks with a tattoo.
