Why is it that people think some tattoos are played out? Who gives a **** what you think about them if they are only asking for advice on getting one. If someone wants a tattoo thats their problem so stop criticizing everyone and what they want.

well obviously, that's just their opinion. there are lots of things in this world of six billion+ that are "played out" and there are tatoos that are to some "played out." i guess you're just venting--but like you said, who cares? it's one YOUR body, not their's!

I agree with what James_M had to say. The main reason for getting a tattoo is personal to the person that's getting it. Many do get them just because their friends got one or it makes them feel like their part of a group. Tattoos with a girl/boy friend or husbands name on generally do play out and lasts longer then most relationships, if it's names of your children fine, but not your partner. I seen on here the other day that someone wanted the lyrics of a song on them, I like music too, but I know that new songs come out and sooner or later that song I thought was all that....isn't all that anymore. You are right when it comes to it's their own body. It is their own body and their money and they can get whatever they want on themselves when it comes down to it, but on the other hand I highly try to discourage getting certain tattoos. Look at all the questions on here that mentions about how to get a tattoo removed...why? Then I see someone posting....should I get this or that, they shouldn't have to think about whether they should...it's up to them not me. As for locations...my answer would be anywhere that you can cover it if one had to.

tattoos are supposed to be personnal as a tattoo artist i do so many lower back tribals or old english letters because some one wants a tattoo like their friends it pathetic why do u want something that so many other ppl have be original!

I guess it is when you come here you are open to certain opinions. It does get aggrevating to hear negative or nothing to do with the question answers. I guess they are just here for fun.
