Book: Angels and Visitations by Neil Galltian

Short story: Chivalry

This women finds the Holy Grail. A knight in armor comes looking for it. Finally he convinces her to turn it over to him. Later that week she goes back to the place where she found it and sees something else there.

"...found a tarnished old silver container with a long spout.
It has writing carved along the side in blocky old Chinese characters, and an elegant arching handle. "It's a lamp." There was a small metal finger-ring, unornamented, tied to the handle of the lamp with brown twine.

Question: What is the object and what exactly is on it (small metal finger-ring.)
Anyone know?

I am cleaning out my bookshelf and I have great books as well as textbooks I am looking to get rid of. I do not want to throw them away. I would like to make money off them, but at the very least give them to someone to use.

Where can I sell them? to any bookstores? or an organization? a store?

what's a good thesis for this question..coz im kinda done with my conclusion(for the global thingy..like relation with readers)..and the intro..except thesis..now i cant start with the body paragraphs..coz i can't think of any thesis..

ok i dont get y nobody gets this. Snape is not the half blood prince. the potions book that harry got was published 50 years ago. and since everyone agrees that jk roling does not waste our time, y does she tell us that? and think, who do we know that went to hogwarts 50 years ago. uh maybeee Voldemort? plus he was half blood, and interested in the dark arts. I think that the book was originaly bought by voldemort, and it came to snape because he didnt have the money to buy one. he liked the title half blood prince and kept it, not knowing that it was discarded by tom riddle for the name of lord voldemort

and what is it that makes that particular book your favorite? Mine happens to be Phantoms. It takes real creativity and literary genius to write a book so engrossing and so creepy that I literally can't sleep unless I've finished the whole thing.

I have over 500 paperbacks (dated in the last 2 years) and some hardbacks that I want to get rid of (redo-ing my "reading room"). They are all in great condition. I don't want to deal with selling them individual on an auction site, and was wondering if there was a site like powells.com or cash4books.net that deals with non-textbooks.

i would like them to be from online or a source (reliable source) that can ship them to me in at least 10 days.. i know harry potter 1-6 box set in the u.s. paperback versions are about $30.. i can't afford to pay much more than that. i need them to for sure be the UK versions.. there are minor differences.. at least books 1-5.. but 1-6 is preffered.

well its been summer for about 2 weeks for me already, and i get pretty bored. i need a good book to read! i tell you some that i like and then maybe you can suggest something that you think i may like? ok heres some of my favorites: the perks of being a wallflower, candide, the electric kool-aid acid test, the stranger, crooked, hard love, harry potter series, a clockwork orange, night, the great gatsby, the color of water, requiem for a dream, cats cradle, 5 people you meet in heaven. ok yeah please tell me some of your favorites, thanks!

i read all different types of books--romance, fantasy, mystery, real fi, sci fi, EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!

Hardcore fans , relax. It is only a question. I enjoy the harry potter stories, but as far as her actual writing, grammatical
wise, how does she fare? Sentence and structure?And also,am I the only one glad that Helena Bonhem Carter got the role as Belatrix Lastrange?The dark gothic role suits her!!!
