Most of the fiction novels I pick up, I find the overall theme isn't that complicated.

Does anyone else agree? Or do you like easy reads?

I love to write but I can't think of anything to write about. Just give me a simple sentence inspiration and I'll be fine. (I don't want to copy, I just someone to inspire me.) Thanks a ton!

I heard that it is a life changing book and very helpful. Can someone explain to me what is it about and why it is so helpful?

By hardships I mean things like hunger or homelessness or orphans told in a story where you feel for the character and like to read how they search for food or shelter etc. These can be in any category because I also enjoy Fantasy, Science Fiction, and Religious but not looking for non-fiction or stories involving abuse or neglect though I know some may be needed to make the story work. So witches or vampires or spaceships or Armageddon are all acceptable. And yes, I've read all the Left Behind series. And stories about people getting lost in the wilderness are great!
I'd also like some "end of the world" type books, not preaching but just stories, about plagues and catastrophes especially, if they detail how they survived and how the landscape was changed and such.

Can anyone recommend me a good history or historical fiction book (for a 16 year old)? (For your information this is not for school, school has ended for me. But I love history based books) If the books is a history one, I really perfer it to explain everything, not ones that expect you to know the subject, you know.

I am a big reader. I read a book sometimes two a week. I really enjoy Agatha Christie, Donald Bain, and Stephen King. Can anyone suggest another author similar to them that is as interesting? I have tried to read Dean Koontz and Mary Higgins Clark and cannot get into their work. Paranormal mystery is good too. Help, I don't want to run out of books.

Any suggestions? Not fantasy though, just fiction like it could possibly happen in real life.
