I've just finished reading Wuthering Heights the 10th time and I was wondering whether:
1)would Heathcliff have been a better man(as a person) if he had not been rejected by Cathy?
2)was rejection by Cathy the impetus- the driving force that made Heathcliff stand on his own two feet and become incredibly rich?

Once you introduce a paranormal element, is it no longer to be classified as "adventure fiction"? If you know your stuff, please say so. If you want to quess, or even have a strong opinion, you're welcome to answer, but I especially want to hear from those in the know.

I'm looking for a book, and I don't know the title or author. I hate people that do this, but I'm desprate. The plot is a woman who works at a historical site (an old plantaion or mansion) is told that the funding from the historical sociey has been cut, so the director offers her free room on the estate in an old cottage. As she's fixing up the cottage, she finds a hidden room full of books and a statue of a cat. She reads from one of the books and the cat comes to life (who talks and I think can turn into a man) and also brings a guy to her door fom a witch's council who becomes her "case worker". The only other details I know are that she destroys her kitchen trying to cook, and something happens (boyfriend break-up or something), and she locks herself in the cottage till her friends and mom come and try to pry her out. Please help!

In 2009, a movie is slated to be released based on Jack Kerouac's book "On The Road". Who in your opinion would best portray Jack Kerouac on the big screen? My vote goes to Ed Harris. Who would you vote for?

All she had was a dream.
A dream that you took away,
And never gave it back,
Because you had nothing else to do.
It was her dream,
That never came true,
Because you took it away
And never gave it back.
It was her dream,
That you ruined,
Because you took it away,
And never gave it back.
She loved you,
You know,
And you loved her,too.
I know you did.
So I have to ask:
Why did you take her dream away
And never gave it back?
It was my friend’s life you took.
Even through you didn’t kill her physically,
But you mentally killed her.
You said you hated her,
And she thought you were the only person
That actually cared about her.
But she was wrong.
You go and say that
You hated her.
So the next day,
She takes her life.
I can’t imagine
What the hell had happened
That made you say
That you hated her.
I wish you could feel
The pain that I have,
When I heard the news.
She loved you to death.
And I wanted to tell
You something for my dead friend:
She’s sorry
For what she had done,
That made you hated her
So much.
