My daughter loves the books in all of those series, great for grades 9-12.
For books that are not in a series, Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin is an great read, as well as The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold.

I am currently reading A Great and Terrible Beauty, by Libba Bray. It's written for young adults and teens, but good for adults, as well.

I provided the amazon links in case you want to check them out and look at the covers, but there may be descriptions or spoilers in the reader's reviews. The summary at the top of the page is usually safe, though.
Happy reading, hope this helps!

I would ask a local librarian or go to the website of your local high school. Usually it is listed there what should be read at what particular grade level usually 7th-12th grade.
Try the website www.greatschools.net.
The list includes classics like Pride and Prejudice, Robinson Crusoe, Mark Twain etc.
It's a list of about 100 books. I think I might have misunderstood your question, so if I did I'm sorry.

The A-list [series]-Zoey Dean- Back in Black-
Back in Black is the fifth guilty pleasure in this witty and risqu series that takes readers behind the scenes of the intoxicating world of Hollywood glitterati. Its time for the Beverly Hills High senior class trip to Washington, D.C. But every year the reigning A-List call in sick and do their own trip to Vegas, baby, Vegas. Anna joins Cammie, Adam, Sam, Dee, and Parker on the Vegas trip to the uber-hip Palms Hotel and Casino. During a hypnosis show on The Strip, the group is hypnotized into telling the truth. Dee is confronted with just how whack-o shes become and Adam and Cammie are forced to confess their forbidden lusty secrets. When Annas oldest and best friend from New York, Cyn, and Annas long-time adolescent crush, Scott, show up in Vegas too, Anna finds out just how dangerous telling the truth can be. Soon to be a major motion picture from Universal Pictures, The A-List and its bestselling sequels, Girls on Film, Blonde Ambition, and Tall Cool One are full of page-turning action about the fast times of Beverly Hills most beautiful and glamorous people.
The It Girl [series]-Cecily von Ziegesar Book Reckless-
Popular Gossip Girl character Jenny Humphrey is making a splash at Waverly Academy, an elite boarding school in New York horse country where glamorous rich kids don't let the rules get in the way of an excellent time. It's less than a semester into school, but Jenny's already become notorious, just like Tinsley Carmichael - who won't give up her Waverly "it girl" crown without a fight.
The Clique Series-Lisi Harrison-Grade 5-8–Claire Lyons moves with her parents from Florida to wealthy Westchester County, NY. Until they can get settled, the family stays in the guest house of Mr. Lyons's college buddy, who happens to have a daughter who is also in seventh grade. Expected to welcome her, Massie instead chooses to make Claire's life miserable for no other reason than she's the new girl. Massie enlists her clique of friends at Octavian Country Day School, all part of the beautiful and popular crowd, to help with the harassment, which ranges from catty comments on Claire's clothes to spilling red paint on her white jeans in a conspicuous spot. Tired of it all, Claire tries to fight back, but then the abuse worsens. The book has trendy references kids will love, including Starbucks in the school, designer clothes, and PalmPilots for list making. However, this trendiness doesn't make up for the shallowness of the characters or the one-dimensional plot. Nor is the cruelty of the clique redeemed with any sort of a satisfying ending. The conclusion leaves one with the feeling that a sequel is in the works. Amy Goldman Koss's The Girls (Dial, 2000) shows the same cruelty of girls with a more realistic story and resolution.
