I'm enrolled in the University of Phoenix Online and need a good used book source, since my company pays for the classes but not the books.

Amazon has a whole section on "New and Used Textbooks." I've found it to be very helpful.

Please see the link below:

Spectacular Sale on Textbooks
For a limited time only, save up to 25% on over 25,000 textbooks sold by Amazon.com. Also for a limited time, take an extra $15 off orders of $150 or more on textbooks sold by Amazon.com. Just look for promotional messaging on product detail pages of qualifying titles and enter this promotional code at checkout:

Try half.com - it's run by eBay and you can usually find the books you need by reputable sellers and find them by the ISBN number. Just ask the professor for the ISBN number and check the site. I have found they are good and quick; just be ready to use a PayPal account, a credit/debit card or a money order.

If you're gonna use a money order to pay for it then ask the post office for a tracking number or way to see how the check arrives.

Good luck.

I used half.com a lot until I discovered abebooks.com. It is the greatest thing ever and I cannot even begin to express my love for it. All the sellers ship pretty fast (faster than I've had on amazon marketplace or half.com). The books are really cheap and you can find anything...I mean that too, anything! Check it out.
