Hardcore fans , relax. It is only a question. I enjoy the harry potter stories, but as far as her actual writing, grammatical
wise, how does she fare? Sentence and structure? And also,am I the only one glad that Helena Bonhem Carter got the role as Belatrix Lastrange? The dark gothic role suits her!!!

i personally enjoy the way j.k. writes. i am very picky about that and there are some authors that i have tried to read that just irk me and i can't make it thru.

i have been pretty happy with all casting as of yet EXCEPT for fleur- to me she isn't as ravishingly gorgeous and blond as she should be and
PROFESSOR UMBRIDGE!?!?!? what is that crap about? she is supposed to be a short fat toad looking woman and they give some prim proper grandmotherly looking woman? http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/warner_brothers/harry_potter_and_the_order_of_the_phoenix/imelda_staunton/phoenix.jpg

she should have looked more like this (minus the mohawk) http://images.allmoviephoto.com/2001_Monsters,_Inc./2001_monsters_inc_010.jpg

VERY disappointed in that casting decision.

In grammatical terms, JKR is a highly competent writer. Hopefully, showing a generation of kids what proper grammar is like will be a positive side effect of her books (in addition to turning them on to reading in the first place).

As for the casting of Helena Bonham Carter in the role of Bellatrix Lestrange, I hadn't heard about that but I think she'll do well at it. I've seen her playing a few varieties of parts (inlcuding an ape in Tim Burton's otherwise mostly forgettable remake of Planet of the Apes) and doing well at it, so I'm confident she'll make a good Bellatrix as well.

Yeah, I like the way JKR writes.

I'm not very happy with the casting. I'm glad Helena Bonhem Carter got the role, but I imagined Bella to look different. And I imagined Luna to have longer and darker blonde hair. And I imagined Umbrige to look more mean.

Yeah I think she's perfect for the role of Bellatrix!

Being completely honest, I don't think I would be as capable at English without JK Rowling, she's taught me some outstanding vocabulary and sentence structure. I just love how she writes :)
