I have critiqued more poems than I've posted, and that's not right, is it? Poets should take risks, after all, and live on the edge. So I'm going to write this one the fly and post my first draft, something I rarely do. Here goes:

Don't Look Back

I led you on, I know
and watched your feelings grow
for all the surprises,
sunsets and sunrises
the foreplay and afterglow
I knew I'd have to go
away.

I didn't mean to do
the slightest harm to you
but passionate fires
and selfish desires
controlled me before I knew
the pain I'd put you through
today.

But the road that I've chosen to follow from here
is meant for my footsteps alone
and all the conventions
and best of intentions
can't cover my crime or atone
to you.

And so I take my leave
and leave your heart to grieve
and though I be witless
as God is my witness
my heart will stay on your sleeve
for you to wear or cleave
in two.

what is true?
meditate on this one before you answer.
If you are someone searching for this, you may have to ask yourself what is it your'e actually looking for, I'm not looking for "true" as stated in the dictionary, what is your "true". you have to take into account that what's true for one isn't true for another, and true can't be an opinion. I have been wondering about this for a while, and "true" doesn't seem to exist. sure there's truth, but that's not the same thing, It's a personal aspect of true, I'm wondering about a universal "true". what I'm asking realy is, is destroying a question the only way to solve it?

The other day I was having some herbal therapy and I came up with idea of satellite billboards. In other words, advertisments in space that you can see from earth. I thought the idea would be terrible but it wouldn't surprise me if it happened. Airborne ads aren't unprecedented. Think about the Goodyear blimp or those planes that fly around with banners attached to their tails.

Anyway, assuming creating them would be feasible, what do you think about the idea of satellite billboards?

Can't get through Dickens. Christian books are nice. If it's a new release, my library probably doesn't have it. Remember, I AM 12!

It sounds stupid, but I just want to know what it is. I heard that Emma Watson is going to study philosophy at university and I would like to know what the subject would cover. What is philosophy?

I have my photo and resume ready and that is all that it said to bring, but it said nothing about a monologue or what will be going on. Can anyone tell me what to expect to do, or what they think will be going on from prior experiences. I know they may be looking for a certain look or type of teen, but I dont want to be caught off guard, so I'm stressing over nothing right now. Has anyone ever gone to an open call that said nothing about cold readings or prepared monologue, but they still expected you to have one? The details are, tommorrow at 2:00pm to 5:00pm and they are looking for 7-17 year old males to play principal and extra roles. Its for a film and is being held by an agency around here. Thank you for your time and hopefully effort, used to construct an answer.

I listen to heavy metal, progressive, rap and alternative, but I still like the Carpenters. It is a guilty pleasure I admit.

I have read pretty much all of the novels I'm going to read in school which are classics. From George Orwell's '1984' to John Steinback's 'Grapes of Wrath'. I would have to pick 'A Separate Peace' because that was read in my English class. I love Leper and Finny but hated Gene. I didn't like how the story ended though. It could have been better.

I would really appreciate it if anyone out there could help me pronounce any of these names from alexandre Dumas's THE THREE MUSKETEERS... especially Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and D'Artagnan...
For the former three, does one pronounce the "s" at the end of their names? One of the only things I know about French is that one does not usually pronounce the "s" at the end of a word... are these names the exception?
Thank you!

D'Artagnan
Athos
Porthos
Aramis
Planchet
Grimaud
Mousqueton
Bazin
Milady de Winter
Cardinal Richelieu
Comte de Rochefort
Louis XIII of France
M. de Tréville
Constance Bonacieux
Monsieur Bonacieux
Queen Anne of Austria
George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham)

because we could say that reason is higher than emotion and it is impossible for a man who has a direct emotive act which does not commit ethical violation. example when you express an anger it fallows that you must show it yet in way that reason must be maintain but reason does not permit you to anger only if your reason is higher than the way you express your anger(in short a mother will not let her child suffer bruises if her aim is discipline )

I bought a tube of acrylic retarder the other day after doing a little research on different acrylic mediums. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, nor do I know anyone that uses it. I'm just curious as to how long, in general, it keeps the paint from drying. I mean, are we talking hours... or more like minutes?
