I'm looking for someone mythical, magical, and just like the Harry Potter Series. I'm HEARTBROKEN! I haven't finished the last book yet, but I'm sooo upset because I don' t want it to end. The how horcrux things really cool, and the creatures they fit into the series. I'm looking for another book like that, I've thought about Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, are there any others. I also enjoyed exploration stories like Indiana Jones type and The Princess' Bride, Willow, and stuff. Any books like that?

FROM THE ASHES OF CELESTIAL DEBRIS

Deprived of the hibernation of
indifference,
seemingly self-imposed, quite often
self-inflicted,

separate souls are drawn back onto the
stages of life.

These characters, being favored by
the Gods that be,
had fate directing them onward towards
the chance meeting.

Against their will their passions kindled
the flames anew,
again fueling the once diminished
embers of care.

Knowing that they are nurtured now by
requited love,
the once wounded hearts of two lives beat
in unison,

thriving within the rhythm of one
mated heartbeat.

(It's my own. Be honest here. My ego is healthy enough.)

I need to pick three nonfiction books for my Sophomore Honors English class. My two choices include Night by Elie Wiesel and The Silmarillion by J. R. R. Toliken. I realize that the last one is a fiction book but my teacher made a exception because I have been wanting to read this for a long time. For my third choice I previously picked "Freakonomics" but now I am having second thoughts and I want to read something more historcial. So my question is which Charles Dickens book should I choose David Copperfield or A Tale of Two Cities? Keep in mind that I have never read any of his work before and I want to make the right choice. Have you read either and which do you perpher? I appreciate the help.

I take critical writing in high school. My teacher likes papers to be real. When he reads it, he wants to feel like someone is talking to him.

I somewhat lack it. What ways could i make a writing style the best?

but not sure if i should, she goes through alot to get to her destination, and i'm not sure if her dying would be just tragic or disapointing.

i have two different ideas for an end. one where she dies and the other where she lives. but the one where she lives is kinda cheesy. any one got any advise?

This is the poem:

I taste a liquor never brewed—
From Tankards scooped in Pearl—
Not all the Vats upon the Rhine
Yield such an Alcohol!

Inebriate of Air—am I—
And Debauchee of Dew—
Reeling—thro endless summer days—
From inns of Molten Blue—

When "Landlords" turn the drunken Bee
Out of the Foxglove's door—
When Butterflies—renounce their "drams"—
I shall but drink the more!

Till Seraphs swing their snowy Hats—
And Saints—to windows run—
To see the little Tippler
Leaning against the—Sun—

So far what i can understand is that she unlike others gets her high or drunkness from nature, unlike other people. It seems like she is almost rubbing on their faces that her way better. The last two stanzas are what are giving me the most trouble, what does the bee and the butterfly represent. A foxglove is a plant that was used for heart attacks but how can that tie into the poem, thank you!!!

I have not been able to find a point to life that has some permanence to it. I need there to be meaning that would last eternity. I refuse to submit to faith or organized religion ...I do not believe in an afterlife, although I am technically agnostic since I find it illogical to deny the slight possibility in a God ...I cannot prove nor disprove these theories.

The universe will either implode in on itself in the Big Crunch, eliminating all of reality forever...then in the overall scheme ...my life will not matter - neither will yours or anyone else's. It will be as if we never existed.

If the universe expands forever...eventually the stars will burn out ...and no life will exist.

We will die and will be forgotten...

I am not making a post for attention ...but I honestly feel as though life serves no purpose. It would be hypocritical of me to believe this while continuing to live ...

I am seriously contemplating suicide...
after all, what would it matter?

Assume that you can keep the abilities and memories of your human mind. You can be any animal you want but you have to stay that animal for two years without changing back. Those two years will be deducted from your human life.
