Limitations are only in the mind.

If you mean in approach to problem solving, lateral thinking or "thinking outside the box" (see link).

If you mean personal limitations, well, that's very subjective, but I know that I am challenged best when I am around people who excel in any given endeavor...think of it like the old rule of always playing tennis with someone who is better than you.

Our cultural limitations change slowly but they do change; there have to be enough minds wanting the same growth and a natural, organic change comes about (see 100th Monkey link).

Spiritual limitations...well...there are none. We just think there are.

Oh yeah...and read Carlos Castaneda. And even Richard Bach. No kidding.

You have to open the window of opportunity to success.

Here is what happens.... A person attempts a venture. If he has initial luck he does this thing again and because of his past success he takes chances and maybe has more good luck. He learns from his continued success and after time is at a level where he is so good he can create his own good luck.

Or the person attempts a venture. He has bad luck, the next time he takes this action he is cautious and makes sure that the window is closed to bad luck, but in doing so the window is also closed to the chance of good luck. This person advances very slowly in this venture because the window is not open to chance of a good or bad luck and he only has experience in the safe zone.

To expand your limitations you have to take chances, but these chances involve risks. The path of caution is a path that may be too long to ever get anywhere. To truly live is to open the window of opportunity to both good and bad luck. This life has time limitations.

If u think u can do it, u can. If u think u can't, u'll lose. If u listen to others' views u exist for them & if u listen to urself, u'll get all the answers. What i mean is, firstly, there is no exact way to find our limitations so that we can push back its borders. & secondly, nobody has limitations & nobody is perfect.IF u still wanna know exactly, read the book THE ALCHEMIST- Paulo Coelho. hope it helps.

Well limits are conceived purely by the human psyche. Therefore one must forego the limititations by believing one might go beyond the limitations. In english, If you want to push the limits of yourself you first must forget the limitations remember only yourself and what you wish to do.

Drop binary thought patterns. The reality of almost everything is spectral.
Drop the delusion that our lives are separate just because our eyes can't see the connections.
Drop wanting the ever-changing to be permanent.
Accept that causes produce effects and effects are produced by causes.
Accept that what we don't know is limitless and that what we do know is minute. Ignorance is no shame, however, a closed mind is anathema.

We are only limited by the expanse of our imaginations .... by encouraging and rewarding the freedom of imagination, we push back our limits. If no one had ever imagined a trip to the moon would it have occurred?

As somebody said long ago, a person is judged by what he/she is able to do and not by what he/she is not able to do.
So limitations are caused by self -judgements by comparison with others and other people's limited perception of one's true capacities.
