Yes Definitely!I think the U.S. should Hold two elections, one for the Media and then the one that would count with the candidates that have real credentials for the People. We wouldn't be electing Movie actor's and talk show host picks. After all for them it all about ratings which= $$$$$$.Basically the same thing that the Media has done for years with their propaganda. Did you ever notice the reporters that are there, look like Drop outs that couldnt make it Through acting school! They have been working hand and hand with the Filth that are supposedly working for us now. They are another bunch of Flunky actor and actresses,SAD SAD Sad !!!!!

Propagandized? Aren't you being a bit charitable. The mainstream media is owned by a handful of corporatists, all members of the "elites" who own the planet. These are psychopaths who lie, cheat, murder and steal as a way of being.
They and their colleagues in governmenent. religion, business and banking, have a huge agenda which involves lying about everything in order to have it fulfilled, no matter what the cost to us mere peasants. Can you spell fascist dictatorship. But you already knew this i "intuit". :))

Yes. And I don't mean that as a left or right argument, I mean that from every angle. It's corporate fascism at its finest. They enslave us to our own fears, desires and hatreds. We spend time fearing, f%$#ing, and fighting over meaningless crap while they rake in 95% of the fruits of our labor and throw us dogs the scraps. They're brilliant really. They've created a dictatorship that appears to be and, even more importantly, people actually think is a democracy. The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world that he didn't exist.

To some extent, yes. But I don't think it's overtly intentional, but rather a byproduct of mainstream living. Just as an individual can become closed minded because it's easier than really thinking, so can all things tend to go this way.

I found this somewhere and it seems to answer your question. Try to guess the date when this was written before you get to the bottom.
THE INDEPENDENT PRESS
"There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before 24 hours my occupation would be gone.
"The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of mammon, and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."
--John Swinton, prominent New York journalist, from his speech at a banquet given in his honor by the leaders of his craft, 1880.

Yes. Their main propaganda is to tell the public that they represent US.
What other group operates without even a shadow of oversight????
