I have my photo and resume ready and that is all that it said to bring, but it said nothing about a monologue or what will be going on. Can anyone tell me what to expect to do, or what they think will be going on from prior experiences. I know they may be looking for a certain look or type of teen, but I dont want to be caught off guard, so I'm stressing over nothing right now. Has anyone ever gone to an open call that said nothing about cold readings or prepared monologue, but they still expected you to have one? The details are, tommorrow at 2:00pm to 5:00pm and they are looking for 7-17 year old males to play principal and extra roles. Its for a film and is being held by an agency around here. Thank you for your time and hopefully effort, used to construct an answer.

If that's all they said to bring, I wouldn't worry about preparing a monologue or anything else. Given that it's an audition for kids/teens AND an open call, they're not expecting you to have experience. In fact, they may be looking for someone "fresh," i.e. not an overly-trained child star. If they wanted a kid with lots of experience, they'd go to agents instead.

You may be asked to read from a script. Take a few minutes to read it over before reading it for the auditioners--it's perfectly ok to ask for 5 minutes if they hand you something and ask you to read it right away. Use energy and act as best you're able with that little preparation. Be yourself when talking (i.e. not reading) to the casting people--again, if they wanted someone showbiz-y they wouldn't be holding this audition, so your best bet is to be your real self.

the astounding tips could come from e book sales. Harry Potter maintains to be merchandising decently for a chain it is over 10 years previous. the astounding e book provided 44million units. That common you're able to prefer to possibly assume the something of the sequence on condition that if not extra. The starvation video games Trilogy has around 26million units available, and particular 10 million or so units on the guy books. Harry Potter is by applying lots extra common than the starvation video games on a similar time because it contains e book sales... action image smart, the astounding harry potter action image pulled in $a million.3 billion in fee value ticket sales, which places it in an excellent 4th place spot, at present displaced from third by applying The Avengers. the 1st action image on my own has grossed virtually $1billion money. The starvation video games has grossed approximately $400million in theaters, it is virtually $100million extra valuable than Harry Potter did, yet pondering the point demographic its no longer surprising pondering Twilight did the comparable ingredient.

They are just going to look at you and see if you are physically right for any of the roles. If you are, they will read you for them. They will probably ask you questions about your availability (if you are free to do the film) and your acting experience. There are ways to be prepared for these things that I teach in my free book. I don't think you need to worry about anything. They will probably ask you to read a script they have there.

Good luck!
