I want to be a fiction writer. I have written a few short things I thought sounded pretty good and I know I can do it if I really tried. But everytime I put a pen to paper with what I think is a great idea, this little voice in my head tell me I suck, I'll never be a writer, I'll never be as good as all of those other writers who's writing sounds wonderful compared to anything I could ever write. I've read lots of writing books and I'm a voracious reader. I want to come out of this slump and be the writer I know I can be. Any help guys? Thanks.

Referring to inner peace, i would like some deep thoughts, and no criticizm, thank you..

Also, how about this as well....

I don't know how to put it in words, but it seems that most people never achieve inner peace, this is because they are always striving for more, and in the search for happiness.

~~~Don't you believe that Joy is more important?


I already have my own beliefs on the meaning, would just like to know if I'm the only one thinking in that perspective.

In the voiceover business one has to be ready for auditions at all times. However, I have to support my family until i start making money in voiceovers.I have one of the best sounding voices out their, but i am having a hard time getting this going. Does anybody have any suggestions?

but I wanted to know how many of you have more than one period in history you like? I know people have asked if you have just one you like, but do you have more than one. I have read mostly about WW II, but I also have read a lot about the American Revoution, the Andean cultures before the Spaniards, the early Cold War from 1945 to the early 60's and the Civil Rights movement up to the assassination of Dr. King. Do actually have more than one time period or area of interests you like?

I'm not really creative, and a bad drawer...all i can draw is stick people and a horse's head. is there any way i can learn to draw people and just draw things pretty well? i know that being artistic ur mostly born with (i think) but if any one has any websites with instructions or anything please help!!!
