I know you need voice lessons, acting lessons etc. But after you've done all that..what do you need besides an agent?

What was the main street in town called during medieval times, such as in a medieval town or city? And how were streets named normally? I notice today a lot of tree names (Oak, Maple, etc.)

About the Half-Blood Prince. When Harry was on Christmas holiday in the burrow, Lupin says that he might have some hint as to whom the Prince is if he looked at how old the book was. Harry checked and saw that it was 50 years old, and Lupin says that was before he and James were at Hogwarts. If James and Snape were at Hogwarts the same time, how could Snape be the Prince?

Hermoine does say the book once belonged to Eileen Prince, Severus' mother, but then why isn't her name on the book?

This of course will be of great interest to every parent answering my question.
I am becoming annoyed at the persistant suggestion that her parents are to blame for her disappearance. Let me put it so simply. Someone, as yet unknown, went in there and "snatched" her and took her away. They knew it was illegal and without the parents' permission.

THEY are to blame. THAT person takes responsibility for their action.

So I have brought up a difficult subject, and I would love to hear other's views on this. Personally I have so much sympathy for the parents.

When the America was starting. way back when it's interesting
that It was the Scots and th Irish along with the english(england) and the french (france) the was stating the U.S.A.

I tend to donate my paperbacks to charity.But if I buy expensive hardbacks, they are read and left on the shelf for years.Surely, it's greener to have paperbacks, they are cheaper to make and we are more likely to recylce them.Your views please?

Firstly, please no offensive answers here... concentration camps were disgusting and we should all be ashamed that human beings were even capable of inventing them.

I'm just wondering why were they called concentration camps? I'm thinking it may have something to do with fooling the victims to go to them but why the word 'concentration'?

Have just read the bit in the last HP book where he visits his parents grave. It says they died in Oct 1981. If they died when Harry was "just one" he would've been born in 1980 and therefore 27 right now, not 17?!?!
