Man I hate it when my school does this. I have two projects to complete. 1. I must write a good paragraph. 2. I have to write a poem analysis of 200 words about any poem. I wish they would have given me a list of poems to choose because when they give me an assignment like this with such a broad array of choices, I go slightly insane. Heck, this assignment has me bordering psychotic. Any suggestions that would be good for a poem analysis? The funny thing is, I'm not a stranger to poetry and I don't know what to write about, I just need some suggestions. Here are the requirements:

Poetic diction: Is the language appropriate to the subject matter? Does the language used add or detract from the meaning of the poem?


Rhyme and meter: Analyze the use of rhyme and meter.


Poetic devices: Locate and discuss any poetic devices contained in the poem.


Figurative language and symbolism: Locate and discuss any figurative language and symbolism.

i've always wanted to start my own band. but i've always been to nervus to ask people to start one iw me. i'm going off ot HS next year. it's an all girls boarding school....and i want to have a band and a atleast two CD's done by collage. does anyone have tips for me to start a band? i sing. people tell me i'm good. but i need to somehow get more confidence in that too. i also have started going guitar thhis year. i will keep doing that too. but i want to atleast geta band. i can find someone who has played guitar for awhile, and than could play it while i get better or soemthing. if u are in a band can u tell me some of the pro's anc cons about it? also tell mehow u guys started, and how u got more conftuerbu l with ur voice ifur a singer.

i have tried e bay but i have a lot of books and they usually sell in bulk and i have most of the numbers i am looking for sweet valley kids,twins,high and university with it being more exspensive to post things now i am looking for them cheaply but still in good condition if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated

Ok, so here is the deal I live in Ontario Canada. But where I live in Muskoka there is no acting schools or plays going on.
I'm 15 years old and this is a huge dream of mine and i'm not going to let where I live stand in the way of my dreams.
I used to go to drama camp all the time every summer for 2 years and had a blast it was so much fun. Then I moved and i'm not able to do that anymore. My mom doesn't have a car and so it's hard to get around so what do I do. I have had my dreams on hold for 5 years now and I want to get them started now.
Any advice?
