In the early 80's there was a comic called Dakota North. I think she was a female detective. They quit the series after 4-5 issues.

Yes, the "Dandy" and the "Beano", two Scottish humoruous comic books featuring comic characters getting involved in all sorts of situations (eg, the india rubber man, who could turn himself into any shape, much like in Terminator 2, but he was a 'good guy'. You could always tell it was him, because he wore a striped sweater, and whatever object he turned into would have two stripes running along it.). The comics featured one young ruffian "Dennis the Menace", who was always up to mischief.
Unbelieivably, these comics are still in production, and Dennis is still up to the same lurks, 50 years later (oops, I'm showing my age!).

Probably a Superman comic back in 1959 when I was 5 years old... but I had been looking at my brother's comics even earlier 'cause I liked the pictures even though I couldn't read yet...

I was 7 years old and I read a Fantastic Four comic, something about Doctor Doom kidnapping Sue Storm and blackmailing the rest of the gang into traveling back in time to get Blackbeard's treasure.

Can't remember the title. It was a kid's graphic novel about a boy and a girl, Tim & Tam, who met aliens who looked like walking eggs but were very strong and solid. The aliens took TIm & Tam to their planet where the gravity was very high (which was supposed to explain why the aliens were short, dumpy and physically powerful).

That's it. I don't remember any more. I do know that I really enjoyed it!

Not sure, although it may well have been a Classics Comic. I just loved Wonder Woman, also Mary Jane and Sniffles.
