I will give you an example of my own personal experience.
My summer holidays have already started so I had a lot of free time, and a friend of mine was still at school. She had 8 courseworks due that week and I offered her help. She asked me to do her english coursework which was due in 2 days later.
Two days I spent researching and writing, and reading a lot of different poetry and studying the biography of poets.
When I finally sent her the coursework, the reply I received from her was "Oh thats BUT my friend accidently already gave in a draft I made".
And thats all I get after 2 days of work which wasnt even mine! Thanks BUT.... no apology.
I didnt feel too good about that and decided never to do anyones homework ever again apart from my own.
But its for you to judge what is best and what is wrong.

If you do their homework then what do they learn? How to cheat is the first thing that comes to mind. If that's what you want to teach your kid God help you. Also if you want to raise a kid who can't make their own way in life then do their homework for them. By the way do you also still wipe their butt for them or have you let them do their own homework on that? Helping with homework by explaining what they don't understand is fine but they need to do their own work.

things like that are generally frowned upon by society, because there are real dangers inherent in making this type of transaction with someone. who is getting what out of this thing? will you get pleasure out of doing a favor? will it make you feel superior? is that person really in trouble? or maybe trying to take advantage of you? it's ok to do these types of things as long as both parties are genuine with each other about what is happening. but it takes real self actualization for this to occur, and it's kind of rare, actually, for two people to be that honest with one another (and themselves). Maybe with family members it would be safer.

so out of all that, i guess i'd have to say, yes. in 99 percent of the situations it would be wrong to do someone else's homework.

It depends on the homework. If it is homework that the person would benefit from doing for their class, then they should do it themselves and you should just help them if they need it. If it's stupid homework like drawing something for English class and the person can't draw at all, go ahead and do it for them.

Not if they still learn what the homework was meant to teach.

There was this guy in my class he would never even due his homework but he would get 100% on every test.

I used to do my Spanish homework, take it to class and another girl would correct it. So, she didn't do it, I did it but she helped me get a better grade in every day work. It seems alright to me, doing it this way. Probably not...
Are you being forced to do someone's homework?? Did you volunteer???What are you getting out of it?? Do you do it correctly????What do you think???

If you're just doing it for them completely, then yes. But, if you are helping the person(s), then that's a different story. I think if a person asks for help, you should give it, but doing the entire homework is not helping the other person.

Helping them is not wrong, doing it for them is not really fair, after all you are the one that did the work not them. They need to take their education serious if they want to learn because when it comes test time you won't be there to answer for them.

Depends on what the homework is. If it's for a final exam or something that will effect his overall mark completely, then I'd advise this person to do it him/herself. If it's something small, offer them your help, but I wouldn't do it all :)

well, "the right thing" would be to not do their homework, and let them learn on their own, but the "good thing" would be to do it a few times(if theres something in it for you)
