Call the University in the city where you live, ask to speak with someone in the Theater Department, ask that person if he or she can recommend acting class, or an acting school, where you live.

NEVER, never look in the Yellow Pages for an acting school.
You do not know the quality of the teacher, call the theater department of the University in your city and ask for the names of acting teachers.

There are acting schools and classes in MOST cities with a population over 1 million.
