My girlfriend is visiting me and I am planning on taking her for a tour of the city since this is the first time she is visiting NYC.

I plan on proposing to her. However, me and her are kinda shaky at the moment. We are still definitely together and loving, but we have a few quarrels between us, that we need to work out. (its a common thing [unfortunately])

I am not sure when i should do it. I know for a fact that she will be VERY happy when i do propose to her, because she is always talking about it..

She arrives in the morning, and leaves next morning. I really want for her to be happy with me the whole time she is here, so i thought i might propose early. but then i realized that it would be more dramatic and meaningful if i did it later in the evening, or right before she was about to leave.

What should i do? should i wait till the next morning or evening and find another way to cheer her up?, or shall i propose right away, so that she can be happy

Does anyone actually believe that a team from the 70's like the Steelers or Dolphins could actually beat the Patriots? I don't ask this as a fan of the Patriots, but as a realist. Today's athletes are simply far better trained and conditioned for whatever sport they are in. I honestly believe that a team like the 78' Steelers or the 72' Dolphins would have a very hard time betting a playoff team from this year, let alone the Patriots. Today's players are simply far more talented and better trained, the 07' Steelers would beat the 78' Steelers. Agree? Disagree?

Hello,

this is really strange but just when I am about to orgasm it feels like someone presses the mute button inside my head where my body orgasms but my mind does not. Ideally I'd like to read two books on the subject: one a proponent of the idea of "the Jesus myth" and one a proponent of an historical Jesus.

I'm fairly convinced of the existence of Jesus, based on what I've read so far on the internet, but I'd like to research the subject further.

So...what books can you recommend to me from either side of the debate?

This question is regarding "calling in". I won't disclose what tribe it is but the casino that someone i know works for have these things called "Blocked Days" in which you can not call in on those certain days (which were mainly Fridays-Sundays), and now during the holiday season they have made it "blocked until January,3,2008". Calling in on a "blocked day" would result in an automatic "5 day suspension" or termination. Is it legal for them to do that because they have a sovereign nation status or are there laws that prohibit them from doing things like that?

Ok, this is about freedom and personal rights of individuals. As an American citizen you are gauranteed the right to life, liberty, and the persuit of happiness. Why does this not apply to a simple plant, given as a gift from God to man? Why do I have to hide my pot smoking when you can go to the bar and get drunk? Alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana by far, yet it socially acceptable. Companies throw parties with fully stocked bars, But God forbide you fail a drug test because you wanted to smoke a joint to unwind after a stressful day. In the U.S. every year more than 800,000 people are arrested on misdemeanor marijuana charges, these people are otherwise outstanding hard working members of the american work force; and thats only the fraction of people that got caught.
Its your duty as a free citizen to do something about this injustice because if nobody stands up, nothing gets done. Hemp could save the world with eco-friendly fuel, so pull your head out of your *** and decide.

I am presently baptist. My wife is catholic. We attend mass and an occastional service. I would like to be a member with her in the catholic church, but want to know if I have to give up my letter of membership in the baptist church.

After long thought and consideration, I have decided I want to become celibant :D

I am in a healthy and loving relationship with a man that I am going to spend the rest of my life with ( I think he is going to propose on New Year's Eve!!) . I know that he will support my decision, but I just don't know how to bring up the topic. The reason I want to become celibant is because I just want to take a break from sex to enjoy other things in life. And I am also at the point where I feel that it is all that we do, so if I become celibant, on our wedding night, it will be somewhat "special".
