Three Heroes Have Fallen—Who Will Rise? We all know Claire's blood can save the world and pretty much everyone in it, so who'll get the hot cheerleader injection (wait, that sounded dirty) and come back to the show? Based on what I'm hearing from inside sources, here's where I'd put my money...
Ali Larter

Ali Larter: According to Heroes insiders, Niki is not expected to return to the show. But her devilish alter ego, Jessica? Oh yeah, we'll see her as soon as the show comes back to the beloved airwaves—when the strike is through! At least, that's the plan according to sources who tell me producers had "done all they could do" with Niki. Micah is not gonna be happy. But at least he'll have Monica...
David Anders

David Anders: I'd bet my beloved, signed Hiro poster that Hiro's sworn nemesis will return. (I've seen that '90s flick The Vanishing and know people can be dug up after being buried alive! Maybe we can even get Kiefer Sutherland to do the digging!) Sources tell me it's not set in stone, but the tentative plan is for Adam Monroe to be back to torment our favorite squinty teleporter—i.e., the "carp." Here's hoping he does.
Adrian Pasdar

Adrian Pasdar: I've heard the production and writing staff is somewhat split as to whether Nathan should return to the show. Allow me to be the first to say WTF? Heroes without the brothers would be like Prison Break or Brothers & Sisters without the brothers: a waste of time! Surely Claire's blood can save her own father, right?! Let's say a little prayer for the older Petrelli, shall we?

There's nothing up for season 3 right now or lack of buzz at the moment because of the writers strike. As you well know, this is what called season 2 to be wrapped up suddenly without much of a build up for a climax. The only thing I know of that Kring has confirmed for season 3 is that a mini-series called "Heroes: Origins" will also debut and tell about the origins of some of the characters as well as new ones. Originally there was suppose to be a plot twist in season 2 that explained why the company made it so easy for Peter to escape and why he just happened to have a cell next to Kensai (Adam). One thing for certain that could make Sylar all the more dangerous is the powers of Candace. He ate her brain when he was missing his powers but if he has her ability anyway then the good guys are in for some serious hurt since he can look like anyone. Also they eventually have to get to explaining the eclipse and how it is related to these genetic markers and abilities. We've seen the eclipse twice on the show. However, if this arc will be in season 3 remains to be seen.

What's posted below is purely speculation.

I think they were initially planning on having Kensai running the company and Bob working for him. They set that situation up so Peter would come to trust Adam, and Maury (Nightmare Man) was not working for Adam but rather trying to stop him and the company by killing its members. Maybe they will try to work some of these ideas back into season 3.

This is all I could find. I know it's not much, but apparently, with the writer's strike still going on, no one is really sure what will happen.

11/11 - I'm hearing from multiple very reliable sources that when (and if) Heroes kicks off the second half of its season, it'll look very different from what was initially planned. Let's just say the complaints from fans and critics about the overabundance of new characters and weak overarching story have not fallen on deaf ears, and that changes are being made to return the show to its winning Season 1 formula.
