"Moshe Torah", despite his screen-name, reveals himself to be a non-Jew. No Jew would be using the terms "The Scriptures" or "Hebrew Texts"!

You want either the Torah, (the first five Books of Moses) or the TaNaKh, which comprises Torah, Nevi'im ("Prophets") and K'tuvim ("Writings", Psalms, Proverbs, etc).

I've used the Interlinear, and the Hebrew grammar, as translated by a Baptist scholar, was badly misunderstood.

If you want the real article, get it from a genuinely Jewish source. Try this:

Edit: Jim appears to have found the same edition as I did, only for less money. JPS means Jewish Publication Society; it's "kosher".

Edit: Like Gershon, I personally prefer the Artscroll Stone TaNaKh (or Tanach), for the eye-easy typeface. But somehow I suspect the asker cannot read Hebrew...

This looks like the best
http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2FHebrew-English-Tanakh-Student-Edition%2Fdp%2F0827606974%3Fie%3DUTF8%26s%3Dbooks%26qid%3D1198655566%26sr%3D8-3&tag=wwwjimpettico-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325

This is the JPS Tanakh (the most highly regarded Jewish scripture translation into English) with the Hebrew in interlinear format. It should be noted that this is *only* the Hebrew scriptures (which includes Aramaic in some passages), and Greek Old Testament and New Testament scripture is not included.

NEW TESTAMENT was NOT written in Greek!!

How many idiots are there....know any Jewish Rabbis who write in Greek today?? Ever??

You need "The Scriptures" and "Hebrew Texts" It will actually not be called a Bible.

Only the Old Testament was originally written in Hebrew. Amazon.com carries one with English translations next to the Hebrew lines: http://www.amazon.com/Interlinear-NIV-Hebrew-English-Old-Testament/dp/031040200X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1198654199&sr=1-2

Search for Tanach. The Stone Tanach is the most popular. It generally takes about a week for delivery.

You can usually get this Tanach in Barnes & Noble, too.
