I am looking for a good traditional Catholic/Christian CDs. Can you recommend any artist? It can be a choir, individual or a duet. I like music that is not overdone--more like how it sounds in church. Certain songs I'm looking for are:

I am 13 and a half about a month ago i went on a diet and i lost about 4kilos.
Now i have gone back 2 my normal eating habits,
but i constally think about food.
And i weigh my self at least twice a day,
my mum is like really worried about me.
BTW my BMI is 19.1.

I have a friend who seems to lie all the time and make up stuff. Hes 21, still livin at home with his mom, yet he does have a job. Hes been a jerk lately because hes backstabbin me when hes around certain people. When hes not around those certain people he backstabs them. He also seems like a pervert. Im sick of his crap.

All of the icons and such are bigger than they used to be on my computer. They're not like, gigantic, but I'd say the fonts are probably two sizes bigger than they were and the icons are probably about twice the size they were. Earlier today, the moniter on my laptop went completely blank. My dad had to take it apart and do something with the wires to make the screen come back up. Now, all of the icons, text sizes, etc are bigger than they used to be. I've already tried changing the resolution in the settings tab of the display properties. That wasn't the problem, so I don't know how else to change it. I have an HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop with Windows XP on it. It's about a year old, if that information helps.

I always get annoyed around Christmas time considering I'm Jewish, and all these people are always wishing me a merry christmas.

It's a nice gesture but, after 18 years of this crap it's getting really annoying.

Lately I've been responding with "Happy Hannukah!" I always get a weird look.

Don't people realize that not everyone is the same religion?

Most christians aknowledge that it has nothing to do with an actuall birth date.

Most even seem to understand that December 25th was origially a pagan celebration of the winter solstice and that the Romans ended up hijacking the celebration to help them push christianity onto the masses (ie: take an existing pagan festival and rebadge it as a christiasn festival so you can say "Look at all the people celebrating on our newly created holy day!).

So, with this being the case, why do christians keep talking about the need to return to the true meaning of Christmas?

Wouldn't that mean looking at why people originally held celebrations on Dec 25th? .....which certainly had nothing to do with Jesus.

If they want to put true meaning into celebrating the birth of their saviour, shouldn't they do it on a day that doesn't conflict which much older celebrations and festivities?

Why can't Dec 25th just be seen a time to celebrate goodwill among people of all races and backgrounds?

PENSACOLA, Fla. — A couple was charged Friday with trying to sell their 2-month-old baby for $30 in a store parking lot, authorities said.

Robert G. Ellingson, 23, approached two people in the PetSmart parking lot and offered them a beer. When they refused, he offered to sell his child, Escambia County Sheriff's officials said.

"At first they thought it was a joke," sheriff's spokesman Glenn Austin told the Pensacola News Journal. "But then the mother yelled to the group that they were trying to sell the baby. And one of them called us."

Ellingson and Maghen Duvala, 25, the baby's mother, were each charged with four counts of child neglect. They were being held in Escambia County jail — he for $27,000 and she for $15,000. It was not immediately known if they had legal representation. They were expected to make a first appearance Saturday.

I am in my 20's and I want to go to collage but I don't know what kind of career I want. For those that have already decided on a career. How did you chose? Did you chose something you already loved to do? Did you chose something that you knew you would make good money? I feel lost, confused, and scared because I don't know what I would be good at. A Scotsman, an Englishman & an Irishman are sentenced to spend 15yrs in solitary confinement.The judge, feeling sorry for the men, decides to allow each to take with him whatever he wants.
The Scotsman says, "I'd like to take a woman with me." The victim of his own logic the judge reluctantly agrees & the Scotsman takes his wife & heads off to solitary.
The Englishman says, "I'd like to take a telephone with me." The judge agrees & off goes the Englishman with his telephone.
The Irishman pulls out a hand-held calculator a & furiously punches the buttons for a few minutes. He then announces, "I'd like to take 3,000 cartons of cigarettes with me." The judge agrees & off goes the Irishman with his ciggies.
After 15 years they open the Scotsman's cell & out he comes with his woman &15 children. "That wasnae so bad," he says.
The Englishman emerges & announces he is now a multimillionaire having set up a successful business by telephone.
The Irishman then emerges, trembling like a leaf....
