All of the icons and such are bigger than they used to be on my computer. They're not like, gigantic, but I'd say the fonts are probably two sizes bigger than they were and the icons are probably about twice the size they were. Earlier today, the moniter on my laptop went completely blank. My dad had to take it apart and do something with the wires to make the screen come back up. Now, all of the icons, text sizes, etc are bigger than they used to be. I've already tried changing the resolution in the settings tab of the display properties. That wasn't the problem, so I don't know how else to change it. I have an HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop with Windows XP on it. It's about a year old, if that information helps.

ThisThis happened to my computer. Its easy to fix.

"You need to change the resolution"

1. Right click on the desktop and go to properties.
2.Click the settings tab and change the resolution to a lower resolution.

That's the exact way to fix it. The higher the resolution, the bigger the icons and things on the desktop appear.

Try deleting the monitor and then the video in control panel, device manager, hardware.
When you reboot the drivers should load up properly.
Also, you can look and see if there are new drivers for your video and monitor.
